Part 1 : Dreams

{Kai's POV}
All around me was fighting. I couldn't move. In the distance I could see one of my friends: Jay. I tried to call to him but I couldn't speak. He was surrounded by Serpentine. My sister Nya was on the other side of him. I watched helplessly as one of them came from behind Jay and stabbed his arm. It started to bleed. Suddenly darkness spread across the battle field the last thing I saw was Jay laying in pain.

When the darkness cleared I was standing on the Bounty. But then, I felt like I was falling. The Bounty became smaller and smaller as if I was falling off it but I could see the deck. I saw something that looked like a sword coming closer to me.

"AH!" I screamed.

It was just a dream. A very terrible dream. I got out of bed and put on my slippers. Rubbing my eyes I opened the bedroom door.

I could smell pancakes from the kitchen. Hopefully Zane was making them, the last thing I needed right now was for Cole to make burned pancakes.

"Why did you do that!" Came from down the hall. I could tell it was Jay yelling because of how high pitch it was.

"Jay! I-It's food! I'm not going to leave it alone!" Said a other voice; Cole.

Today is going great.... I thought to myself. Jay and Cole fighting a lot over stupid things. I swear one day I'm going to go insane!

As I was walking down the hall something went past me really fast almost tripping me.

"Hey!" I yelled at who ever or whatever it was.

"Sorry I have to get this to Sensei before he goes to meditate!" Lloyd yelled back.

I swear sometimes he literally has no idea what he's doing. It's kinda weird.

I started to walk again and when I entered the kitchen I found Zane cooking pancakes, waffles,and sausage, Jay sitting on one end of the table eating some waffles with blue berries in them, and Cole on the other end eating pancakes.

"So, what happened now?" I asked as I sat down.

"Cole did it! He ate my waffle I set down on the table to give to that dragon Wisp had me take care of!" Jay said as the lights flickered.

"What?! Jay, why does your stupid dragon need a waffle?!" Cole yelled back at him.

Jay glared at Cole and slammed his hands on the table almost knocking over my juice.

"One: it's now stupid ,Cole. Two: I like to feed it waffles and other food because its special to me! And Three: the only stupid one here is you Cole!" As Jay finished the power blew out.

Jay looked up then at us and smiled nervously.

"Uh, Sorry?" Jay said as he sat back down.

Zane came over to the table and put a hand on Jay's shoulder.

"It's ok, Jay, you didn't mean to do it,"he said and smiled.

Jay smiled back and started to eat his waffles. Suddenly, something started to scratch the wall.

Cole looked over to Jay and raised an eyebrow.
