Part 3

                 {Jay's POV}
The rest of the day was storms. The constant patter of rain drops on the window filled the silence. I just got done explaining how Kai died.

"Nya, I-I'm sorry-" I started to say but I was cut off

"It's fine ok!" She snapped tears where still rolling down her cheeks.

I never felt so horrible in my entire life. Jay, of course she is going to act like that you literally helped kill her brother! I looked over to Cole who had his face in his hands.

"Cole are.... are you ok?" Lloyd asked he'd been quite for the hole story.

He doesn't look that hurt? But why? Kai just died? I looked back at Cole who didn't even respond to Lloyd. Just then Zane came in with a a try of tea and passed cups around to everyone.

"Let's give Nya some time." He said as he sat down.

Cole looked up but put his face down in his hands again.

"Hey, Cole, you've been quite almost silent as the grave." I said with a nervous smile.

"Jay! Is this really the time for your stupid puns!" Cole snapped at me.

"At least I miss Kai! Lloyd looks like everything is fine!" I yelled at Cole back I saw the lights flicker.

Lloyd looked at me shocked.  "What?! Just because I'm not crying or yelling at my friends doesn't mean I'm not upset!" He yelled.

I'm more upset about it then you I bet. I was there watching him fall. I thought. Lloyd can be so dramatic sometimes.

"Can we all just calm down and move on." Nya said quietly.

We all turned at her in shock. But he's your brother? We shouldn't move on. We shouldn't move on! I shock my head.

"Nya, he's your brother don't you want to remember him?" I asked.

I felt everyone look at me. I know Nya probably doesn't want to forget but why say that out loud? Is it to make us feel better?

"Jay, are you sure he was dead." Zane finally said as free a long pause.

"Yea he fell onto a cell tower I'm sure he's dead.." I said in response.

Zane shock his head. "He could be knocked out. There is a chance Kai could be alive." He continued.

Nya stood up. "No! Zane that's not how humans work! He's dead that's it!" She yelled her voice was shaky. The storm grew bigger and worse.

Zane walked out of the room, then Nya. It was just Lloyd, Cole, and me. I looked at the two of them.

"You know what I'm going to go back and see if Zane is right!" I said to them.

I stood up and started to walk out the door when someone grabbed my wrist.

"Not alone." Lloyd said. Cole and him where standing behind me.

"Yea," Cole said, "we're coming with you." He smiled at me.

I smiled back at them. "Ok, now let's go get some answers!" I said.
