Part 9

{Jay's POV}
I rubbed my head, it was hurting ever sense my talk with Kai. Cole's cut was pretty deep and actually cut a bit of Cole bone. I couldn't remember anything from my talk with Kai. I keep seeing Kai less and less like he was avoiding me. I was sure what ever happened in our talk made Kai upset.
It was dark outside, the sun was just setting.

"Hey, Jay." Cole said from the doorway. His arm was in cast around the wounded area.

"How's your arm?" I asked. Next time knock! I thought. I really don't need a heart attack!

Cole looked down at his arm then at me. "Better. Took a while to stop bleeding," he said "I don't want to tell Kai and make him feel bad."

"Oh, I sorta told him. Sorry" I said. That is all I can remember. Still know that wasn't all that I said.

"How did he handle it." Cole asked. Crap! I don't remember!

"Uhh. The thing is Cole, I kinda don't remember... What happened." I said nervously.

Cole looked behind him then at me and nodded. "What ever if you can't remember it's ok I'll just ask Kai, or just tell him." He said "which ever comes first."

Probably Kai seeing your casted arm and asking you if your all right?! I thought. Just then there was a knock on the door. 9:01pm? Who is here at 9:01pm! Cole and I looked down the hall towards the door. Soon the others where looking out too.

The door bell rang this time, and the knocking was louder. "Who is knocking! Go away nobody wants you here!" Yelled Kai angry down the hall.

"Is someone trying to break in!" Lloyd said. Lloyd please calm down! We are the ninja why would someone break in. I was going to say but decided not to.

"Kai, don't yell. You're not helping." Nya said, glaring at her brother.

The knocking got louder. Finally Zane put on his robe and left to open the door.

"Oh! Hello Skylor." Zane said from down the hall.

Kai's eyes widen and he ran out the door. "Skylor! Hi! How are you!" Kai said. I heard Skylor laugh.

"Look who changed there mind. What happens to 'go away nobody wants you here?'. I'm a little hurt." She said. Kai ground.

Zane came back to his room. "I do not think he knew it was her." He said to us with a smile.

"Why are you here at 9:01pm!" Kai yelled.

Skylor laughed. "Because I felt like it!" She said.

"Can we talk in the morning?" Kai asked her.

I guessed Skylor agreed because a moment later they came down the hall. Kai walked into his room. I herd a slamming sound and everyone was by his door at once. Kai was on the ground.

"Kai, are you ok!" Nya said.

Kai put a thumbs up. "I'm fine just sleep deprived." He mumbled.

Nya face palmed then turned to Skylor.
"We don't have a room prepared for you." She said.

"It's fine. If you have a couch that will be fine." Skylor replied.

"We do!" Kai said from the ground. He pulled a blanket over him off his bed.

Kai you weird piece of crap. I thought. I smiled and walked over to Skylor.

"So what brings you to visit!" I said cheerfully. What are you planning! Just kidding! I asked myself. That question was one I needed to ask Kai.

If only it was that easy to ask him. Said a voice in my head. It made me feel like fainting. Whatever Skylor said I didn't hear because everything was fading. I put my hand on my head and stumbled backward.

"Jay!" Came the faint voices of my friends.

"Is he all right!" Yelled Nya's voice

"Jay,wake up!" Yelled Cole from the distance

"What's going on!" Came the faint voice of Lloyd.

"Jay please...." Was all I could from Zane.

Get use to this, Jay. A voice said then I fell over, the last thing I saw was my friends around me in shock.

Jay! Stay conscious! Something said then everything became dark.
