                      {Kai's POV}
All around me was darkness. There was a sharp pain in my chest. Great... you freaking killed yourself Kai! I thought. All your friends are probably watching you die right now. I need to stop thinking such negative things.

"That's one way to look at it" said a voice from the darkness.

"Holy crap! Am I hearing things or am I going crazy. I'm pretty sure dead people hear things" I said shocked.

Why is everyone able to read my freaking mind! I thought then waited for the voice to probably respond even tho the voice was pretty creepy sounding.

"You want your life back?" The voice said only more metallic.

"So I am dead!" I replied. I was not about to start talking to some sort of creepy voice.

Just wait. Get it over with. Then you can be dead in peace. I reminded myself.

"How can I have my life back I fell off a freaking flying ship onto a cell tower." I said. I felt a little better after saying that for some reason.

"Because I have that type of power" the voice said in its cold metallic way.

I blinked a little. "Do you have a name or can I just call you.... GET LOST!" I yelled into the darkness.

I heard laughter. I was puzzled. It sounded like the Overlord. Am I talking to the Overlord?! I thought.

"They called me The Master. I was the original master writer." The voice said.

Holy crap Kai! Don't go talking to somebody you don't know! Heck! Who cares might as well! I thought then realized that I'm probably crazy I talk way to much to myself!

"So "The Master" what do you want from me?" I said crossing my arms. I'm going to regret this!

"I want to go back to Ninajgo. I want my power as Master Writer back!" The master replied.

I face palmed. Great why would the creepy Master guy not want to take over Ninjago! I need to stop with the talking to myself.

"Why do you need me if your the Master Writer?" I asked "why am I important?"

I was not going to help him. No matter what.

"Kai, I can give you, your life back. All you have to do is help me." He said "all you have to do is get me, my power back."

I sighed. I wanted so bad to see my friends again, so bad to see Nya again. But, was it worth helping him.

"How do i know I can trust you." I said at last. I wanted to know I could trust him. I needed to know I could trust him.

"If you help me. I can make you the green ninja, I can make that Cole person pay! I saw how he let you die! He could have pulled you up! He could have saved you! But his fear got in the way! His fear of pulling to hard and hurting you and Jay! I can help you get revenge." The Master said.

How did he know I wanted to be the green ninja. I was kinda mad at Cole I know what he said about him and how he could have saved me is true.

"I don't need to be the green ninja! Lloyd is the green ninja and my friend! If you change anything in the past change everything." I replied to him.

I don't want that anymore! I don't need to envy my friend anymore. I'll only help him.... If it means I can live.

"Fine. Don't help me. Don't make Cole pay for his actions. Don't get your life back. I'll just find someone who will help me then and you. Well you can stay dead. Stay forgotten." The Master said.

I looked around at the darkness. I felt my anger get the best of me. I made a terrible mistake. What I did next was horrible.

"Fine! I yelled I'll help you! But I want my life back in return and revenge on Cole." I was going to take up his offer. I didn't just want revenge on Cole tho I wanted him to feel the pain I felt dying. I wanted to kill him.
