Part 13

                      {Jay's POV}
As me and Nya ran into the back room where Kai had left, we entered a horrific sight. A corps was lying on the floor by the wall, Lloyd was kneeling holding his right shoulder. It was bleeding heavily adding even more blood to the room.

"What happened?" Nya said looking around.

Lloyd turned around his eyes where red from crying. "Kai........" He started to say.  He was looking at the ground.

"What?" Nya said concerned.

"Kai, he killed..... He killed Cole." Lloyd said sniffing.

"What?!" Nya said covering her mouth. Tears formed in her eyes.

Cole's dead. Why would Kai do that. Tears started to form in my eyes as well. Suddenly I felt a hand in my shoulder. I looked up to see Zane standing next to me.

"It's ok to cry." He said to me and smiled a bit. I nodded and the world around me blurred as tears began to roll down my cheeks. Nya started to cry as well. Lloyd rushed over to comfort her.

We where all sitting in the kitchen of the floating temple when Zane entered the room.

"I have cleared Cole and Kai's rooms out and boxed up there stuff." He announced.

I looked up from where I was sitting. It was hard to engine life with out Cole. He was my best bro and he was a great wingman for when I needed ideas of gifts to give Nya.

"Do we know where Kai is?" Lloyd asked still looking at table in font of him.

"No" Skylor said shaking her head.

"We should try to find out where he's going next." Lloyd said standing up.

Zane up a reassuring hand on Lloyd shoulder. "We will find him. Don't worry he won't forget what he did. We won't let him." Zane said to Lloyd. The green ninja nodded at this and smiled a bit.

{Kai's POV}
We had set up camp in a forest away from Ninjago city. It took a while but I had finally washed my gi. It was dirty from fixing my sword and the rain had made little muddy marks on it.

I didn't change into it instead I wore my red hoodie and jeans. I took out my phone and checked out my Instagram. There was a comment from Jay on a picture of me and Cole from a month ago. I looked to see what Jay said.

"What happened to this Kai?" He wrote. I felt a tear roll down my cheek I quickly whipped it away. It was just one comment it didn't matter to me.

But what you did was terrible! You should feel like the scum of the earth! Said a part of me. I wanted to listen to it. My vision blurred as more tears fell.

"Stupid. That's what you are! Why did you kill him!" I whispered to myself.

Don't feel bad for what you did! He deserved it! He left you to die, remember? The Master's voice hissed in my ears.

It was true he left me to die! I don't need to feel sorry for him! What I need is to command my army. We needed a better place to rase The Master.

"Cryptor!" I yelled to the passing Nindroid.

"Yes, sir?" He answered me.

"I thought the turps where suppose to be getting ready for another attack! We need a better place to let the Master rise!" I yelled at him.

"Sir, they are getting ready. Some of us are weakened by the battle tho." He replied.

"I don't care! Get them ready faster! I have a place in mind and I'm not going to wait around!" I hissed at him.

"Y-Yes, sir" he said and ran off towards the turps.

Look at you taking charge! The Master said. He sounded more pleased than normal.

When you know what you want you make it happen. I replied to him. I was pleased how they where listening to me.

Yes, but I'm sure This place you have in mind is a good place for me to rise? He said.

Of course! I wouldn't think of any place better! I said a smile spread across my face.

What is this place?

I was thinking Borg Industry, but how about instead. The floating temple the ninja live on? I said to The Master.

Oh? But what about your friends? The Master replied.

They can visit Cole if they get in the way. I said turning to over look my army.

"We attack at Midnight!" I announced.

The turps of Warriors and Nindroids let out a cheer. The Master would rise and the ninja would be ended!
