Deadly Fire {Completed}

Part 2

                      {Jay's POV}
I looked down with my mouth gapped open. I looked at Cole who looked just as shocked.

"Hehe guess he really fell for that last joke," I said quietly.

Cole glared at me and shook his head. Jay you really messed up this time! I thought to myself.

"Well, he probably summoned his fire dragon. Right?" I said and glanced up at Cole.

"Jay, remember you can't manifest your dragon when your scared." Cole said and keep staring down where Kai fell.

I looked down to fighting the urge to cry. I hate seeing things happen to my friends.

"So... Does that mean.." I started to say but stopped knowing it would bring the others attention.

I glanced over to see if any of them noticed but they didn't. Nya and Lloyd where fighting and Zane was watching.

"I'm going after him!" I said to Cole. "I'm going to find Kai!" I jumped off the bounty and focused hard to make my lightning dragon.

I flew down to where I saw Kai disappear. As I got closer I saw something red off in the distance.

"Kai?" I said out loud, and swooped in closer.

My eyes widened in fear at the sight. There was a red puddle of blood and laying in it was Kai.

What? How did he? I thought then looked up at the cell tower above. It looked like something hit one of the spikes off it that helps it work properly.
What hit it was Kai.

"Jay!" Shouted the deep voice of Cole.

I looked at him as he swooped down beside me. I looked back at Kai.

"Holy crap!" Cole said and covered hit mouth. "What? How?"was all he managed to get out.

"Kai is dead. How are we going to tell the others?" I said to Cole who still looked shocked as we both looked down at the body of are friend.

Cole looked at me and opened his mouth again. "Jay, we have to tell the others. We can't hide this," he said

"Tell us what?" Came a voice from behind.

We looked around to see Nya, Zane, and Lloyd behind us on there dragons. Lloyd was looking at us in a weird way.

"Could I have an answer?" Nya said rising an eyebrow.

Zane shook his head. "You have to tell her and Lloyd what happened." He said.

"Kai-" Cole started to say when I cut him off.

"Kai died!" I blurted.

Lloyd look at Zane and Nya then back at us. Crap! How did Zane know what happened? Oh wait he's a nindroid. I thought to myself.

"Kai is dead?" Lloyd and Nya said at the same time.

Shock fell over there faces and storm clouds rolled in. Oh Nya.... I'm so sorry about all this.... I thought.

"Tell them when we get back to the Bounty, or we will risk getting shocked by lightning." Zane said.

We all nodded and flew back to the Bounty. On the way back it started to rain just as Nya started crying. I couldn't hold it in any longer and a moment later I felt tears roll down my cheeks.

How. Just how can Kai be dead. Why. Why did he have to die. My mind wondered the flight back.
