Part 5

                    {Jay's POV}
When we arrived at where Kai died he was gone. The puddle of blood and the broken piece where still there but, Kai was nowhere to be seen.

"How could this be? Kai was dead and I don't see any foot prints" Lloyd said after I circled it a few times.

Cole nodded. We all new something wasn't right. His dragon? No there would have been foot prints when he walked over to it to get on. I thought

"What if someone moved him somewhere els?" Cole asked but quickly shook his head "wait that would have had foot prints"

Lloyd nodded. "Even tho it's raining the wouldn't have washed away that fast." He said.

This was confusing. How could he be dead but also have disappeared! Ugh! I hate this!

"Or he used his dragon to look for his friends" said a voice from behind us.

"Eep!" Lloyd yelled and turned around to face the speaker.

My mouth dropped open and I rubbed my eyes a few times. There on a red dragon behind us was Kai.

"Holy crap! Kai is that you!" I yelled my mouth hanging open.

"No freaking duh, Jay." Cole said to me with an unamused face.

Lloyd rubbed his eyes and blinked. Then shock his head.

"How? You died you where stabbed in the chest! People don't live though things like that!" He yelled.

Kai's face turned hurt. "Not so happy to see me are you, Lloyd?" Kai said in a mocking voice.

He looked and me and smiled then glared at Cole. What is Kai up to? Wait? What happened to the stab in his chest. I looked at his chest.

"Kai, nice to see you but what happened to your wound you look as if nothing happened." I said finally.

Kai smiled at me in a way that made me feel awkward.

"Jay, it's called bandages. Also why do you look so shocked, Jay" Kai said with a chuckle.

Lloyd's mouth fell open in shock. "Holy crap Kai you just made a pun! Isn't puns what killed you!" He yelled. Kai just rolled his eyes at him.

Kai what got into you one hour ago you where dead now your alive? What going on! I kept trying not to yell at him on how much Nya was upset but I was just glad that he was um alive I guess.

When we got back to the Bounty it had stopped raining. Cole brought Nya mad Zane outside to see Kai. Nya and him where shocked but then filled with relief. Nya cried a bit and Zane have us a lecture on how we need to listen to him more often and not jump to conclusions. Kai seemed as tho he was waiting for something but what?

"Kai, I-I. Um thought you w-where! What how!" Was all she could get out after she was done crying.

"Shhhh. Nya it's ok I'm ok now. I'm here with you know." He said and for the first time sense he um came back smiled. Smiled in a way like he was truly happy. He even started to cry a bit.

"Kai, it is nice to have you back friend." Zane said.

Lloyd started crying and laughing at the same time. I looked at him concerned.

"Lloyd are you ok?" I asked. He nodded.

"Yea I was just thinking of how Kai is the second one to um die and show up later ok." He smiled as he said this.

But it didn't last long. Something was bothering him something that didn't make me feel good.

"You know what, Lloyd, how about we make it a rule : no more dying!" Cole said and started laughing. Lloyd smiled at this and laughed too.

We all started laughing, all of us except Kai. He gazed off in Cole's direction. He looked in a cold hateful way. It's wasn't the normal Kai. He was planning something.
