{Jay's POV}
I sat on the porch of the floating temple and gazed out over the front yard. It was a beautiful night. I felt a breeze on my face as I watched the water ripple across the pond in the yard. I herd the door slide open and close behind me.

Lloyd sat down next to me and sighed. "Is it just me, or is it weird to walk past Cole's empty room?" He asked.

"Yea, I guess." I replied still gazing out at the yard. I wonder what Kai is doing right now? Does he feel guilty? Is he upset? Is he proud? How is Nya? Is she well. Is Lloyd out here because he needs to talk to someone about what he saw? To many questions kept popping in and out of my head.

"I wonder how Kai is doing." I said to Lloyd.

"Ha!" Lloyd replied, "for all I care he can do what ever he wants! I hope he just knows that I won't forgive him if we ever shows his face here again!"

I winced. I thought maybe Lloyd would be like me. Wanting Kai to come back. To forgive him and help him before something worse happens. To get the old Kai back. I was wrong. I sighed.

"You wouldn't forgive Kai after everything we have all been through?" I asked him.

"Nope. The only thing I would want is to personally throw him off the Bounty and have him not magically come back." He replied throwing a stone in the lake.

"Jeez!" I said to him, "that's a bit extreme. Don't you think?"

"No." Lloyd said laying back against the wall.

Really? That's.... That's not extreme? Did Kai really deserved that tho? To be pushed off the Bounty? I slammed my face into my hand causing Lloyd to jump.

"I just want my friend back." I muttered. Where ever you are Kai..... Please change. Go back to the not-evil-going-to-rule-Ninjago-and-fight-all-my-friends-to-the-death.

{Kai's POV}
It was 11:59 at night. Almost time to attack. I hope Jay or Nya won't get in my way. I felt the same when I was helping Chen in the Tournament of Elements. I felt like I was letting Jay and Nya down. What would they think if they both knew my plans?

I shook my head. They're the enemy now! Stop being weak! I walked over to where Cryptor was talking with Kozu.

"Are the troops ready?" I asked pulling on my ninja mask.

"Yes" replied Kozu.

"They are all prepared to rase The Master and attack anyone who gets in the way." Cryptor stated.

"Good." I said walking away from the generals.

Are you sure you're ready to do this? Asked The Master.

What do you mean? I want to live again. I'm sick of having you around in my head! At least when you are the Master Writer again you won't see my every thought! I replied.

Yes. I won't see your thoughts anymore, and I will keep my end of the deal. He said.

Wait! You can see my thoughts! I nearly lost my balance and fell over.

Yes. He said sounding pleased.
