Y/N's POV

Despite the occasional shock, I wasn't in that much physical pain. But the psychological pain of knowing that everything I had already gone through was going to happen again.

[Y/N, you know I care about you. I know how much this hurts you. But seriously, all this being depressed and all is not like you. Stop it. Even last time, you weren't this depressed.]

I appreciate you worrying about me. I really do, but you don't know the pain they put me through. I don't want it to go through it again

[You're right, I don't know. But I went through a lot running your equipment and keeping it from hurting you as much.]

I sighed verbally. Who knows, maybe he won't work us as hard.

As soon as I said that another electric current shot through me.

Ahhhh. I screamed internally. Right on cue asshole. Damn, that one hurt a hell of a lot more than the past ones.

[Just try to rest.]

~

I tried however every time I dozed off another current jolted me back awake.

Ok, I'm starting to get a little restless. How long has it been since we left Chorus.

[Since we took off? About five minutes. We probably aren't even out of the system yet. The tech on this bucket of bolts is ancient. It must be one of the first ships he sent to that rock.]

Holy shit, its only been five minutes?!? Damn this is gonna be a long ride.

~

I decided to actually look around the room for the first time. There wasn't a whole lot to look at other than the door, the floor, and the ceiling. The room itself was pretty small. The only sound was the occasional foot steps of the soldiers outside. As I looked around I started to think of the reds and blues, Carolina, Wash...I wished that he was there with me. Even if he was a prisoner as well. There was something about being with him that made me feel safe, like nothing bad would ever happen. I thought about his arm wrapping tightly around me.

Maybe...

All of a sudden, the ship jerked.

[Curious]

Isn't that code for bad? What's happening?

[I'm not positive but it feels like we're being pulled by a tractor beam. I didn't know human ships had that technology readily avaliable.]

Maybe its Hargrove's faster way out.

Everything was silent for what felt like an eternity. Then I heard frantic footsteps in the hall outside. "Open fire!" I heard someone yell. After thirty seconds, there was silence.

"Blarg blarg honk."

What, the fuck, was that?

[Its Covenant.]

Is that better or worse?

[Its hard to tell from here.]

~

Several minutes of unbearable silence passed.

[I've got movement on trackers.]

I thought you said you couldn't do that.

[It's called footsteps.]

Jackass

The door opened and four Sangheili aliens walked in. One walked closer to me and held out a hologram of Tucker. "Blarg blarg?" It said.

One of the other elites was holding a bomb which said, "he wants to know if you know the guy in the hologram."

Did that bomb just fucking talk?!

[I think so, but just hurry up and answer it]

"Uh, y-yes. Thats Captain Tucker"

The alien closest to me turned to the others behind it. "Honk honk blarg, blarg honk, honk blarg blarg," it said.

"Blarg, honk blarg," another said.

"Blargh blargh, honk blargh."

You wouldn't happen to speak alien, would you?

[A little bit.]

Really!?

[Nope]

I sighed quietly.

The alien turned back to me, "honk honk blargh honk blargh."

The bomb said, "eh he wants you to tell him where Tucker is, and to take us there."

"He's on a small planet called Chorus," I said shakily.

The alien drew an energy sword from his side, and walked over to stand behind me.

Andy, what's it doing?!

Before he had a chance to respond, the alien raised his sword and cut through the ties. I wasn't expecting something so sudden, so I hadn't prepared myself. Andy laughed extremely hard at me falling on my face. The aliens walked out of the room as I stood up.

Should I follow?

[I say yes.]

I walked out of the room and held up two middle fingers to the room.

Fuck you Hargrove.
