When I woke up today I saw color,
This color was bright it was safe,
I haven't felt safe in a long time,
For once I wasn't worried or trying to finish things so fast as if to say I was in a race,
I smiled today and when I said I was ok it wasn't a lie,
I laughed with everyone it was as if my demons went on a vacation,
My thoughts were not as dark as other days,
I looked in the mirror and I saw me I saw me not what monster took the form of me,
For once I knew it was ok at least for today.
