Chapter 41: Hikaru's POV

"Hi, dad! This is Hiku!"

I blushed and shook her father's hand.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Mr. Hana."

He smiled and nodded, shaking my hand.

"The pleasure is all mine. So you're one of the friends that was in that game with her, correct?"

I nodded and smiled.

"Yes, sir."

"So I guess it's pretty safe to assume that you saved her from that?"

I thought for a brief second....

"Well sir, it seems a lot more like she saved me more than anything."

I blushed and smiled.

"Oh dad quit quizzing him so much!"

Iku said jokingly and Mr. Hana chuckled.

"Well you're most welcome to stay for dinner! I'll be over here if either of you need me."

We waved to her dad as he walked to the other room. I looked at Iku and noticed she was blushing....I lightly kissed her cheek and smiled.

"H-hey Hiku, are you gonna get on ALO today?"

I nodded.

"Yep. I've got nothing going on. Are you going to?"

"Yep! I've been grinding for EXP for a good while though. Sorry if I'm a little better than you Hiku"

She smirked evilly at me....I smiled and nodded.

"It's fine, I mean it would be different if I wasn't as well."

I smirked and she giggled

"Did you bring your NerveGear?"

I nodded.

"Yep it's in my backpack."

She smiled and took me upstairs again. I followed and she took me back to the guest room.

"Here you go! Where should we meet in ALO?"

"Hmm....how about that Cafe everyone is really into?"

"Oh, yeah sure!"

I went took out my NerveGear and sat down on the bed.

"See you there, then?"

"Yep!"

Iku left the room and closed the door for me. I lied down and put the NerveGear on.

"Link start!"

I spawned in the town and saw people looking for weapons and equipment. I started walking towards the Cafe we talked about.
