Chapter 46: Hikaru's POV

"W-what?! What is this...?"

"I'm you, what do you think?"

I held my sword, confused....

"Look, why don't we skip the crazy talk and get to fighting? ...me.......?"

I tried to act strong, and normal as I spoke to....me.

"I'm almost the exact opposite of you, Hiku. Well, you know except for the whole gender thing. I'm still a guy like you, it's just almost everything else is different. Don't you want to hear what it's like to be the opposite of yourself?"

"I don't really care to be honest. All I care about, is completing this quest for Iku."

"No, Hiku. You don't care about her. You don't know about her at all."

I tilted my head slightly, confused....his level was low, and his stats were that of a new player....

"You see, yes I'm the opposite of you, but im still you. I know how you really feel. I know about what you did back when you were a kid....I know all about you. I know that you look at everyone around you, and think that you're not worthy enough for their love. I know how you look in a mirror, and get disgusted by what's there. I know how you'll never forgive yourself for the things you've done."

"You don't know a single thing about me!"

"Oh, really? Then how did I know exactly everything about you, when you haven't told anyone about that?"

"Well that's obvious....you're spying on me, huh?"

"Oh yeah? Then why am I the only one that knows about those little dreams you've been having? You can't remember them, but you know you've had them. Want to know about them?"

"Shut it, now."

I got ready to attack.

"You don't have it in you to kill yourself, kid. You'd be too afraid that you left the oven on!"

My eyebrows went down, as I stared him down, in the eyes.

"The truth is, kid....you and your little parade of losers here? You're all going to die. And guess who's fault that'll be? Yep! That's exactly right! The biggest dumby you could ever think of! YOU! I know all about those secret powers of yours. And how you're keeping them from your so-called 'friends' I know you wouldn't tell them. Even if it costed them their lives."

"What powers?"

I felt sweat going down my face.....

"Oh, you know.....a little something called Angel powers? Those aren't your real wings and you know it."

I rushed out towards him, and pushed him against a wall.

"Shut up! You don't know a thing about me!"

I punched him in the face.

"After everything I've done in my life I have made up for what I did! I am doing everything I can here!"

I punched him again, and held him up.

"Ever since my parents died, all I've ever wanted was to be loved! Was that too hard to ask for?!"

I took a dagger and slashed his chest with it.

"I hate you! I hate myself! Yeah I'll admit it! But at least I have what it takes keep my friends safe! I know what I need to do, and I do it! I love her, and I love everyone in my life! You think I'm gonna just let a couple of low-life jerks take them from me?! I'm not!"

I took my sword, and backed up slightly.

"I love them, and I'll put my life in front of them in a heartbeat! You said I don't have what it takes to kill myself? Well bring it on!!!!"

I lunged towards him, and pierced his chest with my katana. His HP went all the way down, and he looked down, closing his eyes.....his HP wasn't fully depleted....he had only 1 HP remaining.....I backed up and looked at him....he opened up his eyes and looked at me....his eyes......they were full-on black!

"You see this?! This is what will happen to you if you keep going on like this! You're gonna die! And you'll only be remembered by the demon that killed the world! You are the true evil one here!"

His eyes were the exact opposite of mine back in SAO....

"Good luck keeping you and all these stupid people together!"

He smirked, and had a very evil laugh.....he looked crazy, insane even. No....both if those words are an understatement to how he looked....his HP fully depleted and he disappeared, my sword dropping.....I turned to Iku and saw her, on top of what looked like her.....perhaps she faced the same thing I did....iku had her dagger piercing the girl's chest, and the other girl disappeared.....I ran up to her and helped her up. She looked at me with water in her eyes....I pulled her close and held her tight....
