Today, I looked at my Instagram as usual. I remember about two years ago on June 26, 2015 something magical happened. I saw gay pride flags zooming around my Instagram and Facebook. I saw people crying and praising their ancestors. I was proud to be an American because, finally people started to see what love was. The definition of love is :
Love = an intense feeling of deep affection
An intense feeling of deep affection. Have you ever loved something. That little toy when you were a toddler or someone that you are with now? Before June 26, 2015, people who loved a certain gender were considered "abnormal." Why is that you ask? A lot of people say that "Gays are not normal. We need people to repopulate planet Earth." Why would you say that? It breaks my heart. LOVE IS LOVE. No matter how old you are, what gender you are, where you were born, or when you were born. I'm sure you have felt it before.
You felt that warmness in your heart. A person or something is on your mind everyday. When you have that little goofy face every time you see them. You could be in dark place that you wanted to just die, but when you see their eyes and smile, you can't help but flutter in the happiness. This is love my dear. I have felt it multiple times, but only in sudden jolts. You don't have to date them to say that you love them.
My friends, you know who you are, know that I am a very compassionate person. I will always be there for you, better or for worst. I just love you. I don't want to date you, but you give me that feeling of butterflies. I could be in my worst time and you could be there cheering me up so that I would be able to smile again. Brooke, Ava, Zachary, Zoe, Gabriel, Aubrie, Alexandra, Kaitlyn, you guys have helped me through so many things that I can't thank you enough for. If you ever meet any one of these people in real life, they are actual angels. They made me laugh, smile, cry in happiness, during the worst possible times.
Let me explain the difference between a "relationship" and a "friendship"
Relationship = an emotional or other connection between a person that you would want to spend the rest of your life with.
Friendship = a friendly relation with another person
As you can see, they have the same ending but with very different meanings. I remember when I was younger, I met this boy. He liked this one boy in my grade. I didn't understand what he meant by "liking" when I was younger. He was scared and thought that he wasn't "normal." Now, it breaks my heart seeing people think that they aren't normal. The planet Earth isn't normal. We are the most abnormal planet out there. Anyways, why can't you just let people love?
The people who sabotage or argue with people saying that they aren't normal are just, not human. No matter if you are a girl and love a girl, or a boy who loves a boy. Love whoever you want. Whoever gives you those warm butterflies that make you smile everyday, are the people you need to surround yourself with. Also, if you are one of those people who yell at people because of their sexuality, stop it. You are not benefiting humanity with your ugly comments and words my dear. To end this rant for tonight:
Love is a magical thing.
Whoever you are.
Love whoever you want to.
You are loved by everyone.
You are a colorful rainbow who loves to spread their wings and fly.
