Matthew's POV
I wake up and groan realizing I am late for school, which mean detention for being late every day this week.
I quickly get ready and then walk to school, seeing as I don't have a car.
I walk into the school and its already second period.
I make my way to my second hour and as I knock on the door.
A student comes and opens the door as the teacher said to and I look down at the pretty, unfamiliar girl for a second before brushing it off and walking into the classroom.
"Espinosa. Late again?" Mr. Leo said and I rolled my eyes.
"Let me guess. Detention again?" I asked, so over this.
"Yes sir. Take your seat" He said and I go to the back to my normal seat, sitting down, noticing the girl in the what used to be empty seat next to me.
I smirk a little.
Shes hot.
As Mr. Leo gives his lecture I can't help but stare at the girl.
She catches me a few times but everytime she does I glance away.
The bell rings and she gets up, grabbing her things as I did the same.
She walks out of the room quickly, me following behind her quicker, trying to catch up.
"Hey" I said finally getting next to her as I walk beside her, trying to keep up with her quick pace.
"If you sit in the back then why did you open the door?" I asked her.
"Why are you talking to me?" She asked raising an eyebrow and turning to face me, no longer walking so I stopped also.
"Just curious" I said shrugging a smirk on my lips.
"I'm new. He had me upfront of the class introducing myself so he just told me to open the door then go to that seat" She said shrugging.
"Whats your name new girl?" I asked her as we started walking again.
"Dani" She said and I nodded.
"Matthew" I said holding out my hand to shake hers.
"Oh" She said pulling her hand away and walking away quickly so I catch up to her again.
"What?" I asked
"People talk about you" She said
"Damn you already heard about me?" I asked shocked of how fast people spill the tea to new kids.
"Yes. Now I have to go" She said and I shrugged as she walked away, me staying where I was and watching her walk, she walks with so much confidence, like you can see it in her posture and everything.
Its hot.
I go to my next class, it being the opposite direction.
