Dani's POV
A few weeks later
I wake up this morning feeling sick to my stomach.

Ughhhhhhh I have been liking school lately. Seeing Matthew in second always makes my days.

But I really don't feel up to it
I hear footsteps coming upstairs.

"Daniellaaaaaa" my Aunt Janel say as she knocks on my door.
"Yeah?" I asked tiredly and the door opens and she walks in.
"Are you okay honey?" She asked me sitting on the edge of my bed.

"I don't feel good" I said quietly and she nods, her hand coming up to my forehead.
"Well do you want to go to the doctor? Or just stay home and sleep it off?" She asked me.

"I don't like doctors. Can I just sleep it off?" I asked her and she nods.
"George and I have to head to work now, but if you need anything call me," she said and I nod
She gets up and kisses my forehead before walking out.

I grab my phone and go onto my texts with Matthew typing one out.

Me: Hey.. I'm not coming to school today.

Within seconds he saw it and was replying.

Matthew: why?!?
Me: I don't feel good
Matthew: then I don't wanna go either.
Me: Matt u are fine tho 😂

Matthew: buttttttttttttttttttt... I don't wanna go without you.
Me: Lol okay.

Matthew: can I come over??
Me: wat if u get sick ?
Matthew: Idc if I get sick.. I 4 sure don't wanna stay out of school and stay @ home all day.
Me: yeah. You can come over.

I stay laying in my bed, waiting for him to text me that he is on his way or something.
But he didn't so I clicked off my phone, assuming he was coming later.

I cuddle into my blankets, ready to go back to sleep when I hear the front door shut relatively loudly.
I guess my aunt had to come back and grab something.

I close my eyes and then hear my door click open and footsteps into it.
I spring up quickly, ready to punch someone but scared of a muderer coming to kill me, only to see Matthew.
"Calllmmm down Dani. It's just me." He said holding his hands out and walking towards me.
"You scared me!" I exclaimed and he chuckled and took his shoes off before crawling into the bed with me.

"I thought you were coming later" I tell him, laying my head on his chest.

I hear his heart beating quickly, but I don't say anything because mines beating pretty fast itself.

"I didn't want to go later, I wanted to come now" He said wrapping his arms around me and pressing a small kiss to my temple.

"Oh. So how did you sleep?" I asked him, still tired myself.

"Coulda been better," He said shrugging.

"Can we take a nap then?" I asked him and he nods.

I close my eyes and drifted back to sleep within minutes.

Matthew's POV

She falls asleep and I keep my arms around her.
