Matthew's POV

A week Later

I walk out of school the last day.

I wait for Dani and Xander by the door, Xander's class right next to Dani's.

Xander walks out first and waits for Danit with me, her being held up for some reason.

"Are y'all coming back with me? Or going to Dani's? I can give y'all a ride if you need one bro" He asked me.

"I don't know I will ask her.. I'm so pumped for the summer man.. and being out of this hell hole" I said and he nodded.

"Same bro." He said as Dani came out.

"Hey beautiful" I said and she smiled and I grabbed her hand.

"Hey" She said smiling and kissed my cheek.

Xander, Dani and I  began exiting the school together

"Do you wanna go back to our place or yours?" I asked her.

"We can go to yours if you want. No one is at my house" She said and I nodded.

"You heard the girl! Back to the apartment" I said to Xander.

"Aye Aye Captain" Xander said saluting and unlocking his car.

I open the back door for Dani and she crawls in and I close it before hopping into the front.

We always give her rides home and stuff now so she doesn't have to walk.

"Xanderrrr" She groaned as he played one of the few rock songs on his phone from the aux cord.

"Danniiii. Deal with just one then its back to normal I swear" He says and she nodded sighing.

She sits through the song looking all pouty because she does not know the song and does not usually like old Rock music.

She gets a call.

I look back and she furrows her eyebrows.

"Can you turn it down This is Important" She said and Xander turned it down fully, allowing her to answer the phone.

"Hello?" She said sounding confused.

"Yes." ..

It was silent for a few minutes.

"Hey...." She trailed off, still sounding confused.

"What?" 

"how?"

"But where are you going to go?" 

"What do you mean??" She asked again.

"No... No I'm not"

"Why? What do you mean why? I have a life here now. I have a boyfriend and I have a few friends and I like where I am."

"Yeah.... But Still"
