"Miss Dylan! Miss Dylan!" Emily, my assistant was shouting as I was on my way to my office.
"Emily! Good morning Hun! What do we have on our plate today?" I asked her.
"You have such a busy day today miss, you have three meetings. One with the suppliers of the mat-"
"Wasn't that Danny's job?!" I interrupted.
"Mr. Walker isn't coming today, miss, I am afraid."
And here comes the sweet troubles of the day..
"How come our designer isn't going to show up before the runway by a month! Oh gosh .. why isn't he coming??"
"I.. I don't know miss ... do you want me to call him?" She said.
"It's okay .. I'll call him and I'll take care of the rest of the schedule.. Thank you." I left to my office.

I work in fashion, as you noticed. I am a famous brand in New York City and aiming to go international this summer.
I have studied at Harvard fashion and business administration. That was when my family decided that I can't travel or be successful anyway and that fashion is such a silly idea of business since my father is a famous doctor and my mum is a professor, but she got married and left her job for some reason. They tried so much before to make me too let go of my work and get married and stay home. My parents used to live at Canada. When I decided to study abroad and start my own business was a special day. It was the day that me and my parents fought like never before and we stayed apart for as long as I remember. My father continued paying for my fees though and on my graduation day they came and showed support just for the image of the family in front of the public. Since then, we talk but unlike before and the different opinions are still there too. Honestly, I miss them but not those parents, the ones I've known since my childhood.

"Danny. Danny. Danny. May I know why your majesty isn't showing up to our sweet company today?" I mocked.
"Okay look! Before you start! You should know that I have my reasons!" He said over the phone objecting. Danny walker is my partner and friend since I started university. He is the same age as me. He is sweet but short-tempered. He is a professional fashion designer. Well only a fashion designer, knows nothing about administration and that's why I am here! I design too but I have more of the administration side. We both opened our company, The White Tulip, after university.

Anyway, Danny has been my best friend in university beside Jessica. Jessica is my high school best friend. We've hated each other so much in the beginning but later we became more than friends. When I fought with my parents she was there for me to support me and help me. She is a teacher now and she is happy with her job and about to get married too to her colleague, Martin.

"What reasons, Danny? You are the one who wanted to pick the materials by yourself and have the whole runway's models picked by you this time, you didn't allow me to know anything expect designing and now I am set to a meeting with the suppliers, which I actually know nothing about! Danny, our big runway is in month. IN A MONTH DANNY!"
"Will you just calm down! Firstly, you are not meeting with anyone. I'll be there for it. Is that okay now?!"
"Okay," I said with relieve "but where are you anyway?" I asked.
" Surprise!" He exclaimed.
" Danny, stop that excitement and tell me now what are you up to?"
He laughed. "Nothing believe me. It's going to be good, calm down. Will you?! You will know everything soon. By the way I am coming over for dinner. Bake my favourite pizza of yours and then I'll tell you."
"Look at that! He knows how to cause troubles and want to eat pizza" I laughed.
"Fine, pizza and cake. Look I have to go, see you tonight."
"Okay Danny, See ya!" then we both hung up the phone.

I opened my tablet to check my schedule that is as always weird, but at least one place is free from the suppliers meeting. Then I left my office to the logistics meeting.
"Emily! Danny is going to the suppliers' meeting so you can free that time slot and see if something else important needs to be added." I left.
"Sure miss."
"Good morning, miss Dylan" Tina greeted me.
"Tina! Good morning! How are you?!" I replied.
"Fine, Miss. Thank you. I wanted actually to meet you for a minute if you are free?!" She asked.
"Sure, but I am actually on my way to the logistics meeting right now. But is everything okay though?"
"Yeah! Yeah, everything is fine. We have just a little idea at the accessories section that I would like to discuss it with you."
"Awesome! Okay then check with Emily and I'll be waiting for you."
"Rodger that!" She left.
