I didn't know when did I get dressed, got into my car and arrived at the stage. The scene was like a nightmare, it was like a part from a movie or my own memories. People were running, screaming. Emily came running to me muffling some words and all I could see was her mouth moving, the horror but most important, I couldn't take my eyes from the fire. The fire that used to be in my nightmares every night till the age of 18.Even now those nightmares pay me a couple of visits once a month. Suddenly I felt the warmth of the fire, the fumes filling my lungs, the memories all coming rushing one by one like a movie in front of my eyes. I started coughing, closed my eyes trying to focus.
"I have to do this. Calm down, it's nothing. Well, It's just fire."
"Miss. Dylan! Miss. Dylan!" Was that Mandy?I found myself suddenly in a house, it looks much like our old house. It's on fire!
"Help! Please someone help me!" It's Edward's sound.
"Edward! Edward!" I jumped onto my feet, running like crazy searching for Edward. He was here! He should be here! But suddenly the fire swallowed everything, everything even Edward. I started screaming now but the guilt, and sadness kept it in my throat. I can't scream. I can't breath, I can't live. Edward was gone."It's OK, darling. It's OK, M. I am here. We are here." Danny was saying, calming me down with a glass of water in his hand. I took the water gladly and drank it all in one gulp. It was then that I realized that indeed everyone here, Danny, Emily, even Adam and his assistant at the backstage. Well, at least the backstage is unharmed. I sat up right and asked what happened. They all were still looking worried, but Emily took the lead and talked. She cleared her throat.
"Well, I was talking to you when suddenly you looked weird and collapsed, thanks to Mr. Switzer, he took you to the backstage. " Emily explained. Adam still looked worried. I think he is still trying to figure out what just happened to me.
"You want to go home or have some rest here? Oh dear M, fire never was good to you since-" Danny started talking again letting all of his thoughts and secrets as well spilled all over.
"It's okay, Danny." I cut him off, when Adam looked with curiosity all over his face . "It would be better if we thought of the crises in our hands now. How bad is it?" I looked at Emily. She hesitated for while but finally gave in.
"Really Bad, Miss." She said."So? What are we going to do? Any ideas?" I looked at everyone in the room. As far as I remember fire has destroyed everything and everyone I loved. I was not letting it ruin my career. They all looked at each other and really weird ideas kept coming out until Adams said something interesting, that he didn't mean actually.
"Well, I think doing a runway in the middle of a burnt down stage would be a brilliant idea." Adam laughed at his idea along with everyone else but for me it didn't seem an idea that gets laughed on at all.
"Adam. You are a genius!" I fired away and stood up on my feet too fast that I felt a little dizzy. They all looked at me puzzled as if I actually lost my mind.
"Are you serious? " Adam said frustrated.
"Yes! Imagine what we can create from such a burnt down stage to a castle of fashion with just our fashion. Our runway would make people enjoy a burnt stage. Plus we would get that place with lower price which will help us in boosting our runway like extra advertising or better materials for extra special pieces." I started to explain.
"I like the idea of the extra pieces and better material." Danny commented but non is yet fully convinced. I sighed.
"I realize it's a little crazy." I admitted.
"A little?! It's a lot crazy!" Adams commented.
"But new." Danny suggested.
"No, I am not taking part in this. I am searching for a proper place." Adam said.
"Adam, we have no luxurious of fighting as the day we met." His lips smiled a little at this. I rolled my eyes at his thought "We have a runway to be done in a matter of less than a month, everything is ready just the place due to some bad luck. Plus we have no other option we agreed to share this place when we photographed and shared the costs of this project all along. " He still looked unconvinced and I was fed up with him and his actions. "You know what! Do whatever you want. I am starting the new plan of this runway tomorrow." I stormed out of the room then Emily and Danny followed me. I have no time to lose.
