Chapter 12

"It was really brave what you did out there" Colton said looking at me while we waited in the waiting room. "Well he's my brother I know he would do the same for me." "Yeah your right. We all would" he said taking a drink of his coffee. "Look Colton, about the whole Thomas situation..." "Don't worry about it. I'm over that. I just want you to be happy and I can tell how happy he makes you." "You make me happy too." He smiled and gave me a hug. "So we are cool?" I asked. "Yep." Then the doctor came out. "Family of Eric Secharia" We all rose. "How is he doing?" Joey asked. "He is responding well to the treatment. It was a good thing you found him when you did. He wouldn't of lasted much longer without medical attention." That was such a relief. "Can we see him?" "Sure but try and take it easy with him. i know he is probably exahausted." "Will do doctor thank you so much." "Not a problem."

We walked into Eric's room. It was covered with flowers and cards. He waited anoxiosly trying to get his medical band off his arm. "ERIC!" I yelled giving him a hug almost knocking him out of bed. "Lauren my hero" he said jokingly. He gave all the other guys a big hug as well. "You wouldn't even imagine what we had to do just to find you." "Well I would love to hear about it, but first can you guys get me out of here and take me home. My back hurts from this hospital bed." "Dude we would love to but the doctor said you should stay over night just to make sure there is nothing wrong." He sighed. "Well Lauren could you stay with me here over night too so I'm not lonely." "Of course." He then looked over to Thomas. "Now bro what is this I hear that you are taking my sister out on a date? Did I not say she was off limits." "Yeah you did but come on Eric would you rather her date me who you have known for years now or bring home some bike rocker with piercings and tattoos?" He looked at us both. "Fine you can but just so you know if you hurt her, I hurt you." "I wouldn't dream of it" Thomas said standing next to me. "Now what is this I hear you gus flipped out on 5SOS?" "Oh my god yeah we did" Anthony said. "You should of seen your sister she was kicking their booking agent's ass." "That's my girl." We all started laughing. Then as Anthony was telling him the whole story I saw someone I thought I recongnized outside the room. "Guys I will be back in a minute I just have to talk to someone." "Okay hurry back" Colton said.

I walked out of the room to see Ashton standing there. "Hey." "What are you doing here" I asked. "Well I wanted to see if you got my hint I gave you about Eric and I wanted to apoligize. I shouldn't of said all those things I did back in New York. I took all my anger out on you for something that happened between me and your brother years ago. Weather you believe me or not, I honestly had nothing to do with your brother. I just knew where the person who was, was keeping him." "Okay I belive you. But why didn't you go to the police that was still wrong of you." "I know it was. And I'm sorry. I guess I just held a grudge all this time and I couldn't. Who knows what the lads would of did to me if I told and helped our rivals out." "Okay then. Thank you for coming." "Is Eric going to be okay?" "Yes he is. Thank God." "Okay then well I better be going. See you around." Bye."

"Who were you talking to?" Thomas asked. "No one. Just a friend."

Eric was more than happy to leave that hospital. But who can blame him he probably missed home. It feels like it's been forever. He still had a few cuts and bruises but other than that he was alright. He said he didn't want to do anything special that night all he wanted to do was play a board game with all of us and watch a movie. Around 6 all the guys went home. Eric was sitting on the couch tweeting fans on Twitter. "Hey E?" I asked. "Yeah Lauren." "I missed you a lot. If something happened to you or if I didn't find you in time.." "Shhh it's okay" he said stamding up giving me a hug. "No matter what I will always look after you. I owe my life to you. You are the greatest bravest and strongest little sister anyone could ever ask for. I love you." "I love you too you big goof ball."

Around 8 there was a knock on the door. It was Thomas and Joey. Thomas was all dressed up and had flowers in his hand. "What are you guys doing here?" "Well I'm here to take you on the date you promised and Joey is here to keep Eric company so you can't make up in excuse to get out of it. Now go get dressed." I came down in a short black dress with matching heels with my hair straightend. "Wow you look incrediable." "Thank you." "Yeah you look a little too nice..Why don't you go put on some sweats and a hoodie instead" Eric said protectively. "It doesn't matter if she did wear that, she would still be the most beautiful girl I have ever seen." I blushed at his sweet comment. "Yeah yeah Augusto have here back by 9:00." "It's 8:10 already. How about she just stays over my place." "How about no. 11:30 is your latest." "Fine "dad" 11:30." Thomas rolled his eyes. "You two kids have fun" Joey said. "Not too much fun though" Eric added. Thomas shut the door and we headed off to our perfect evening.

Something that I have realized is life is not easy. You always have to fight for something. And when it gets tough you can't give up. What happened to me with Eric was such a suprise and what do I know about finding someone who vanished?I'm 16. But the point is Never Give Up and always find something anything to keep you motivated and concentrated. I'm Lauren Secharia and this is my story of how I brought my brother Eric home.
