That day seemed to arrive all too soon, Scarlett paced up and down in the cabin, her nerves clearly evident as she mulled over every single possibility of what could go wrong.

"What if they don't like me? What if I stick out like a sore thumb once more? What if-"

"Shut up Scarlett, everything will be fine. Charlie went to that school and nothing happened" AJ brushed off, causing a glare to settle onto her face as she stroked Celeste's, her owls, feathers.

Charlie soon emerged with Scarlett trunk in tow, a wide grin was on his face as he looked to the red head who had an owl atop of her shoulder.
She looked to him with a pale face, hands clammy with nerves and fear, it was like she was a first year all over again.

"You ready?" He questioned, noting that she was already in her uniform since they were apparating straight to Hogsmeade and wouldn't have time to change before reaching the castle.

"Can I see Alas before I go?" She questioned, green eyes bright and pleading as she looked to the black haired and red haired men in the room.
"Please?!" She whined.

"Fine, but make sure she doesn't get any ash on your robes" AJ stated and Scarlett cheered in glee before racing out of the cabin and barging into the enclosure.

"Alas!"

The dragon unfurled herself instantly, head raised high and tail flicking about as she nudged Scarlett playfully.

"I'm gonna miss you whilst I'm gone" she whispered, scratching the dragons scales as the beast flopped onto her back and gave a rather content purr.
Kissing her snout softly, she gave her one last pat before exiting the enclosure.

"SCARLETT!" Charlie called and the red head spared Alas a longing look before racing back of into the cabin.
"Ready to go?" He questioned once more, Celeste flying onto Potters shoulder as she enveloped AJ into a hug.

"See you" she breathed.

"Christmas break?" He questioned.

"Maybe" she brushed off, taking Charlie's free hand in hers and squeezing it tightly as the familiar pull tugged at her and her body began to twist and bend.

Crack!

The two now stood in a dark village, the moon now high in the sky with a gentle breeze billowing across. They were now in Hogsmeade village. Celeste hooted, her claws gripping on the robes of Scarlett's uniform softly as they ventured from Hogsmeade up to the Hogwarts castle.

Her grip on Charlie's hand grew tighter as they found their way to one of the many entrances to the castle, Scarlett's face even paler as she looked up at the magnificent school.
The older red head just tugged her inside though, the halls empty since the other students had yet to arrive.

They came before a large gargoyle statue, to which Charlie stated 'Sherbet Lemon' as the password, as told through the letter sent by Dumbledore. The statue jumped out the way, revealing a spiral staircase that the two ascended with the trunk left at the bottom by the statue. Knocking on the oak door, it instantly creaked open to reveal a dusted office filled with all kinds of magical trinkets and thick books.

However, what caught Scarlett's immediate attention was the gorgeous Phoenix that was situated in the corner of the room. She marvelled at it, completely oblivious to the marvellous wizard that was seated behind the desk, watching the red head with a hopeful eye.
Charlie cleared his throat. Scarlett jumped.

"Mr Dumbledore" she nodded, bowing her head and causing a small smile to slip onto the elder wizards face.

"Miss Scarlett, what a pleasure to finally meet you" he greeted, to which the teen just grinned.
"Mr Weasley, how nice to see you again too"

"And you Professor Dumbledore" he nodded, the sorting hat in his hand that he had told Scarlett about earlier.

"Now, for the sorting"

The hat was dropped unceremoniously atop of Potters head, and suddenly she was hearing the magical hats voice in her head.

"AH! A Potter!? Strange, very strange. Never knew of you until now. I know exactly where to put you, gotta be Gryffindor!"

A wide grin filled her face, Charlie enveloped her into a bone crushing hug and Scarlett just thanked Professor Dumbledore before she was dismissed. She knew what to do now, Charlie had told her all about the feast that she would now partake in with her other house mates.
So, after dropping her trunk and leaving Celeste with the other belongings that were piled up, she wished farewell to Charlie before moving towards the grand hall doors.

"Now or never"
