So the next night I found out that there was going to be an open house party on “our” house so I went and got a lot of tents that could be connected and then I found a place and put them in a tree so nothing would happen to them then I got a solar powered heater and thermostats, more camping stoves, lighters, propane, tiki torches, camping lamps, books for all ages more sleeping bags, toilet paper, more air mattresses, more clothing, and more canned food.

I took every one to the new camp sight and then I went and got jackets and old fashion wash tub one for clothing one for dishes and two for people and I also got two more tents for the bathing part one for girls and one for boys. After we set up and connected all but the bathing tents it looked like a fun house meant for hobos or as you would call us run always.

I picked literally as far away from the next human stop as possible so no one would “accidentally” find our camp and just to make sure I did a daily check of the woods that surrounded us and then I stopped checking out the woods after a month. Ok so I checked three times a week but it was for safety reasons, I found out there was a warm spring nearby and eventually I took the whole family.

While we were at the spring I realized no one had a towel so I went and got to for each person I also got two swim suites for everyone but left them at the tent the I went back to the spring with a towel for everyone and I set them where everyone could see then and I left a note that said ONLY take ONE. Then I set me towel down and watched everyone play in the water.

After about ten minutes Derek came and found me and at first we shared a peck then he sat beside me and we held hands then we just sat there listing to laughter of everyone and then I saw Louise and Blake playing with Kayla and they looked like a little family themselves and then they had smiles that reached their eyes and so did everyone else.

Then Derek whispered in my ear something I didn’t really  here so I asked him what he had said and he gave me a small smile and said “I love you” then I started to smile and said “I love you too Derek” and his smile got bigger than I have ever see it.

Then I asked “do you remember when we first meet each other?”

“How could I ever forget……? You were in worn out faded jeans, you hair was in a messy ponytail and you called me kid and you looked so cute when you ran in the rain after me…… By the way I really wanted to kiss you the next day after you told me I wasn’t your “type” just to prove that I could be”

“The ONLY reason I said that was to get your attention and so I could make you feel a little dumb about  when you said “no peeking” who says that” I was laughing so hard that I feel half way in to his lab and he kissed the top of my head and then I kissed his lips.

“By the way I WAS trying to flirt with you and I guessed it worked so ya… Oh and I got you to smile AND blush so I think I meet my goal but I was a little shocked you said I wasn’t you type and then we kissed and I didn’t know who kissed who and then that night we spent together just talking and I wasn’t sure if I was like a brother or something and then we kissed again and I really was confused after that and then we kissed again and I thought you liked me and then I wasn’t sure if you liked me the way I liked you and ya…… That’s why I didn’t tell you first, because I thought you didn’t feel the same way…” I have felt the same way since that day in the rain but I would or I think I would never tell him.

“That day... In the rain…. Why did you walk away?”

“I guess I thought you were telling me to get lost and that you didn’t want some random guy there.”
