So after me and Derek talked everything out he told me that he and Kyle were hanging out since our semi “break up” which I thought was sweet because me and Derek don’t have secrets so he knows everything about me that I know about me and he was just making sure Kyle was who he really say who he was. I was laughing and giggling the whole time because he not only hung out with my brother but also interrogated him and I thought it was cute because he was trying to act macho.
“So now what are we going to do with all of our new family even though I have no clue who the lot of them are but we need them because there are strength in numbers and we can use all the help and everyone is fairly young so we can start a war and win if need be and we can recruit kids and teens like us you know people who need a REAL family not someone who hurts them I know we can do this.”
“Avony I think your cute when you are planning things cuz you get all serious and flustered and you face turns red.”
“Are you laughing at me? This will make you louse a kiss from yours truly for the rest of the day you keep it and don’t help me.”
I said playfully and had a spark of sarcasm and a smirk on my face and was giggling.
“Yes mam. So what would you like me to start with mam.”
“I would like you to stop calling me mam and round every one up because we are going to go talk to our troops and give as much info away as we can but keep as much of it a secret as possible”
“Ok I’ll spread the work that boss man wants to meet everyone at the center of camp ASAP.”
“Well ok but I need a second and third in command if we are going to get anywhere.”
“Avony?”
“Yes?”
“I love you.”
“Love you more.”
“Love you most.”
After a half hour I could see that everyone was here a total of fifty two including my old twenty three people who was with me from the start of this craziness and I smile in their direction. I have no clue how to start things off so I just start talking.
“Hello I'm Avony and these people to my right are the people who are my family Louise, Derek Bethany, Rocka, Jade, Rebecca, Dalery, Courtney, Elizabeth, Faith, Gemma, Hailey, Isabella, Kayla, Blake, Jacob, Ryan, Alex, Brian, Matthew, Nick, Jason, Kurits, and my brother Kyle. And we are here to help you all and if you have any questions pleas just come on up and ask and we do our best to answer the as best we can.”
At first no one comes up and then out of nowhere a little girl that looks like my older dead sister comes up and I think I might cry then I notice that Kyle sees her to. But she starts to talk and I snap back into reality.
“Why did those men take us my mom and dad where there with me and they are not here why?”
“Oh sweet heart I am so sorry but I got everyone that I saw out if I didn’t see them then I have no clue where they are. Does anyone else not have a person they went into that place with but didn’t come out and find them?”
As far as I could tell all of the new people raised their hands and I thought I might just break down and cry for all their pain and lose. But then I remembered that I was a leader and had to be strong for all of these people.
“And how many lost them when you went to that prison?”
All hands stayed up and I was really depressed at this point and just wanted to run as far as I could but I knew that I would never be able to forget this so why try to.
“And how many of you are willing to rebel against all government so NO one has to go through what we did?”
ALL hands stayed up and then I thought I might burst into happy tears because I now had more support and people to help me and I had a chance to make a difference. Then I had a flash back of me and my dad.
“Avony. Sweet heart. What’s wrong?”
“I don’t want to talk about it daddy ok it nothing but a bunch of stupid girls ok.”
“Well can I tell you something bumble bee?”
“How can someone be so mean?”
“I don’t know but no one can make you feel bad about yourself you understand no ok because they may all say you are nothing or a nobody but you better believe that in the future you are going to change the world and how people see you do understand bumble bee.”
