Chapter 8: Dance Lessons

So I started to teach Jacob to dance and Derek found out by following us and he decided to help out as much as possible by letting Jacob observe us dance and then try it with me. After a week of lessons we, Derek and me, started  to set up for the dance in this really nice open meadow and found trees to hang lights and streamers and then found this nice big tree to hand a disco ball and then I told Jacob to ask Bethany to our make shift dance. We had good music, a loud radio, and great party food, cupcakes and chips and pizza, and cool refreshments, Gatorade and fruit punch. Then I went out and got dresses and tuxedoes and corsages and a curling iron and a straightner and hair products and accessories and a little makeup. So after I got everyone from Louise to little Kayla ready I took everyone in.

Louise was in a sapphire blue silk form fitting gown, and had silver eye shadow that made her eyes go from sky blue to sapphire blue and red lip stick and a clear lip gloss. Bethany wearing a emerald green silk knee length dress, her long black hair was up in a prom bun and had two curls to shape her face and had sparkly green eye liner to make her eyes greener and was also wearing a light blush. Rocka and Jade wore similar dresses, Rocka was in a blue form fitting corset ball gown that had green glitter on in and Jade was in a green  form fitting corset ball gown that had blue glitter on it and Rocka had green eye liner with blue eye shadow and Jade with blue eye lines and green eye shadow.

Rebecca was wearing a high-low hemline aquamarine blue dress to accent her eyes  and her hair was in two little twist in the front then transformed in the back into a perfect row of spiral curls that went past her waist and was wearing a light pink lip gloss. Dalery was in a medium purple floor length dress that was form fitting at the top then flows at the bottom with silver accent at the top and her blue streaks were taken out, they were clip ins, and she wore a white-silver eye shadow and was wearing a pale pearl lip gloss. Courtney was in a mint green ball gown with a silver snowflake accent on it and wore a pink blush and a sparkly red lip gloss and her long strawberry blond hair was curled.

Elizabeth, Faith and Gemma wanted the exact same dress but in different colors so they all got knee length dresses that were a form fitting white top and a tutu rainbow bottom and all had their short hair curled. Hailey was in a light mint green dress with a chocolate brown bow, with two low pig tails with a slight curl and a clear lip gloss. Isabella was in a light pink one shoulder floor length with a silver belt and her hair was in two little buns on the top of her head. Kayla was in a gold dress that looked like it came from “Beauty and the Beast” and head two little pig tails on the top of her head.

Everyone gushed and then I realized I still wasn’t ready  and then I saw my dress but I wanted to get it on but I know that I had to fix my hair so I curled it and then I did simple makeup a little blush, lip gloss and lip stick, a smoky eye shadow, and a simple black eye liner, then I put on my dress and it looked good it was form fitting corset ball gown and was purple and pink and the bodice had a  silver accent and then we were all ready and met the guys at the open meadow and they were all already there and smiling when they saw us walk up in a single file line smallest to tallest.

Then everyone was smiling and I saw Jacob in his tux and then he walked up to me and said thank you and then asked Bethany to dance with him and she turned red and said yes. Then I turned around and bumped in to Derek who looked like a dork in a top hat which made me giggle and then he asked me if I wanted to dance and I rolled my eyes and blushed and then he pulled me close and we kissed and it made me feel like we were the only ones there and then we parted and he kissed me again but this time the kiss was much more deeper than the first time.
