I sat in my bed watching the sun rise outside the baby pink and blue sky changing to a bright orange and blue as the sun peeked from the mountains I got bed late last night I couldn't sleep much I kept thinking about everything and Jim..he's so sweet I shouldn't have given him a hard time when he first arrived it's not his fault he was roped into my mothers mind games he just doesn't know that he's the 5th guy she's done this too. I hear a knock on the door before seeing the door open "you up yet Em?" I heard Jim's groggy morning voice which made me smile "yeah didn't get good sleep though" I say getting out of bed walking to the lights to turn them on seeing Jim's messy hair as he rubbed his face "we'll get ready I have to drive you to school and head to work" he said shutting my door leaving me to get ready and as I did. I smiled looking at myself in the mirror happy with my outfit

as I opened my door I seen Jim about to knock before seeing me come out his hair was still messy but he intended it to be that way he had a leather jacket on with a grey shirt and jeans, he looked amazing. "You look good" I said with a smile as he looked at me happily "thanks so do you" he said as he walked down the stairs and he disappeared into the living room and came back with my brother in his arms and we left the house.
Jim pulled into the parking lot of the high school the sound of children's music play on the stereo for my brother was a bit embarrassing but it wasn't too loud where everyone could hear it, I got out of the car and went to the backseat as I watched Jim get out as well I kissed my brother on the cheek "love you buddy have fun" I tell him and he smiles nodding his head "you too sissy" he mumbles making me smile and I turn back to Jeffrey as he walks me to the entrance of the office "call me when you get out" he tells me and I nod my head reaching up and giving him a hug as he hugs me back I hear him huff and his hands trail down my legs and grip the bottom of my skirt which makes me flench before feeling him pull it down "boys were looking" I hear him whisper before pulling me away from him "have a nice day at school darling" he said waving to me as he got in his car and took off to work. I walked to my first class seeing the only person I knew here "jadie!" I screamed as she looked at me and ran to me giving me a big hug "oh my god what are you doing here?" She asked me excited as she jumped up and down in my arms "I decided to come to actual high school so be lucky your school time is gonna be a lot less boring!" I said giving her a kiss on the check "sit down girls, now." Mr. chandler said as he began to write on the board our lesson for today
I sighed waiting for Jim outside my school it was nearly 4 o'clock school has been out for an hour now and I texted him when I got out, I sighed as I hopped off the railing and started walking back home as I seen Jim's car headlights I smiled as he stopped next to me "sorry kiddo your mom ask me to drop off Isaac she's staying late and wanted to see him" he tells me making me swallow deep "he's gonna be okay right?" I asked him and he laughed nodding his head "yes Emily don't worry so much, plus we have the night to ourselves I'm making brownies it'll give us some time to get to know each other" he tells me making me smile as I nod my head "cool can't wait, and I don't mean that in a sarcastic way" I say with a small laugh as we pull into the driveway of our house we get out and walk inside I set my backpack down and Jim heads into the kitchen to start baking while I change into my night clothes and go back to Jim who's playing old 80-90's music making me smile as he dances along to it "I didn't peg you as a bonham kind of guy" I tell him helping stir the brownie mix while he got the pan ready, I danced along to the song that played on the surround sound through out the house "all that I can do!" I sang into the spoon looking to Jim as he smiled "is wait for you!" He sang pointing at me as he poured in the mix into the pan and putting it in the oven before closing it and grabbing me making me laugh as he took me to the living room and we danced along to the songs that played, "can we listen to Lana?" I asked excitedly and he rolled his eyes nodding his head and I plugged in my phone and played one of my favorite songs before grabbing Jim's hands "it's a slowish song I wanna dance with you" I said with a smile and he sighed smiling back as he gripped my hands in his and the other on my hip as we danced and I hummed along "one for the money, two for the show, I love you honey I'm ready I'm ready to go" the music played as he twirled me around making me smile and he laughed "I like this song" he says twirling me back to look at him as he pulled me closer "finally coming around" I say as he nodded dancing me along to the music "you're screwed and brilliant and look like a million dollar man so why is my heart broke" as the song ended he dipped me down making me giggle before he brought me back up and I smiled staring at his eyes as they lowered with his smile the sound of the timer going off scared both of us half to death along with my mother walking through the door and Jim and I quickly separated from each other "welcome home darling" Jim said giving my mom a hug and a kiss as she looked at me with confusion "what were you two doing?" She asked as she put Isaac down letting him wonder off to me "Emily wanted me to teach her to slow dance for a dance coming up" he lied to her as she nodded her head "oh dear why didn't you tell me you were going back to school!?" She said rushing over to give me a hug before pulling me away "I thought Jim did but it uhm doesn't matter, I'm going to bed" I say walking towards the stairs my brother in my arms "but we made brownies Em" I heard Jim say and I sighed "I don't want any okay, good night" I say before leaving to put my brother to bed and to go to bed myself.

~ so Emily and Jim are getting closer!! This chapter took me a bit to write but I got it done so yay! This chapter is a little shorter than the other but still quite long so I hope you all enjoyed this chapter, it might be awhile before things start really happening I dunno we'll see :) ~
