It was the next morning and john had went home and Paul had been home also. It was Monday. The day that John and Paul had dreaded. Paul woke up, going through the same routine before school like always. He had thought about him and john. He had a great feeling about their relationship. He didn't want to go to school but the only thing he was excited about was seeing John. He got ready and went down the stairs. "Hey shithead." His dad had given him so much hate. Paul just shrugged it off because today he was confident. And he had thought that he could get through anything as long as John was by his side. He had took a quick bite of toast and headed his way out the door. He walked with his books in his hands, looking around for John. And there John was. Running up to Paul from behind. "Hey love!" John gave Paul a quick hug. "Hey Johnny." He smiled. "I got a good feeling, John. I think today will be special. Like very special." "Well I'm glad you think so because I do too." He slipped his hands into his pockets. "Do you think I'm attractive, John?" John stopped dramatically. "What?" Paul stared. "I said, do you think I'm attractive?" John rubbed his hands together and began smiling. "Well, you are the most beautiful person I've ever laid eyes on. You are special and perfect in your own way. I couldn't be happy without you." That made Paul very excited and both happy at the same time. Paul couldn't get any more happier. But all of that crushed a little when they hit the sight of school. "Ugh." Paul sighed. Paul knew that the kids would pick on him. He knew that they would push him up against lockers and throw their fists at him. He knew the same routine that continued every school day and he was sick and tired of it. Paul walked into the school along with John expecting that he would get thrown like every time he walked into the school. But surprisingly to Paul, no one laid a hand on him. They had seen John and didn't do anything to Paul. Paul had noticed that too. "Umm John." He turned to John. "Why aren't they doing anything?" "What do you mean, love?" Paul gave a puzzled look. "I usually get picked on. Like every time I walk into school." He looked around. "John. Is this the first time we walked into school together?" John nodded. Everyone smiled at them. John was the good luck charm. Paul just went along with it and took advantage. They just walked around like they owned the place. "John?" "Yes?" "I love you." John smiled with a spark in his eyes. "I love you more, love." John walked Paul to his first class. He looked at his schedule. I have geometry next! Ugh." Johns eyes lit up. "I do too. Haha. What's your third class?" "P.E.'" John smiled. "Me also." Paul became so much happier. "Okay. Well I'm happy!" John took a look at Paul. "You should be." He then walked away as Paul watched. Paul never noticed that John was in his classes. John never realized it either. They were in grade 11 and it was a couple of weeks before the end of the school year. How did he not notice all of these days? Paul went in with a smile and sat down. He looked around seeing if anyone were to throw paper balls at him or laugh at him but no sign of that. Just as he thought that the day wouldn't get any better, he has received a test back that he had taken Friday. He got himself prepared. "Good job, McCartney." His teacher said as he flipped the test upside down onto his desk. Paul then flipped the test over. It had said an A on it with a little note on the bottom that added, "good job, McCartney" just as the teacher had said. He started to doze off. Being with John is amazing. He had gotten so much love and respect. He even got more good grades on papers like he's never done. It's both surprised but yet expected. He just keep dozing off in his mind with the same thought. He can get through anything as long as he has John by his side. He'll never overlook that. "Now, all of you. Get out your textbook and turn to page 214, copy the definitions of the words. It's due by the end of the class. Start." The teacher had sat down at his desk. Paul had got to work and as he did the time flew by in class. 30 minutes had flown and the bell was going to ring. "Well, I'm done." Paul took a look at his paper and smiled. Paul had such neat and organized handwriting for a boy. It could be better than most females too. He walked up to the desk and sat the paper down. "McCartney." The teacher had said as Paul was walking away. He became nervous thinking he had done something wrong. "Yes?" "I can see that you've been recovering in your school work. I just wanted to congratulate you on that." Paul smiled. "I sure have been working hard, Mr. Johnson." He said and then walked away. The bell had started to ring. Paul was excited to see John. He went to get his things and rushed off. "Aww." He smiled and said to himself. John was waiting outside of his class for him. "Aww Johnny. Thank you for waiting!" He loved how John was such a gentlemen towards Paul. That made Paul feel like he's the happiest person alive. "Johnny. Let's go! We don't wanna miss class." They had walked together and didn't give a care about what anyone else had thought about them. They just went on with their day as themselves.
