Chapter 16

John and Paul were walking to the store. "Johny!" Paul yelled for John. "Yes my pretty pretty princess?" "It's freezing. Should we go back and grab my jacket? It's too cold to walk without a jacket!" John giggled and nodded. "Of course not, honey bun. That's too much of a walk and besides, I️ already got you a jacket." John started taking off his jacket and shaking it. He smiled and wrapped it around Paul. Paul looked up at John with a sparkle. Paul stood up on his tippy toes and kissed John. "I️ don't want my sweetie being cold. That makes me upset." Paul blushed. "Aww johnny!" Paul's face turned a bright red. Paul cuddled into john's jacket, admiring the smell of Johns cologne and cigarettes. "I️ like it. It's warm." Paul admired it. Paul and John were about to the store when they saw the sign for it. They walked over to it. John held the door open for Paul. When they first walked into the store, Paul saw something that really caught his eye right away. "JOHN!" Paul hit john's arm not too hard. John turned around fast. "What?" There were a whole counter of shiny, expensive and nice rings. They were absolutely beautiful! There were gold ones and there were shiny diamond ones. Paul smiled with his hands behind his back. He made it obvious what he was looking at when he keep shifting his eyes to the rings and back at him several times. John followed Paul's eyes and looked over to the rings. John knew that Paul would love what he saw. He knew Paul wanted a ring. The rings were so expensive but that didn't really bother John because he loved Paul with all of his heart and he would do anything for Paul. Paul Shed some tears wiping some tears off when he caught his eye on one beautiful specific ring. He walked over to it and then slid it onto his ring finger and held out his hand admiring how well it felt and admiring how good it looked on him. It matched how feminine his hand looked. "John! Look how beautiful! I️ love it so much." John looked over at Paul's hand and smiled. He looked up at Paul's face. "I️ think it looks so beautiful on you, princess and no one in this world could have worn it better!" Paul smiled. "Thank you, baby. You're such an amazing and such the right boyfriend for me! I'm so thankful!" "Awe Paul. That really means a lot to me. I️ love you!" Paul's heart felt complete. "I️ love you too Johnny!" Paul was done looking at the rings and he had thought John was done too. Paul had thought it was not fair to be looking at the stuff he thought he couldn't have so he just sat outside pouting like a spoiled little girl who had got everything she ever wanted and couldn't get her favorite iPhone case. John had told Paul that he was only in there for a little while longer because he wanted to look around more and talk to the employee about a couple of things that he would plan on getting in the future. John wasn't hesitant at all. He picked up the exact ring that Paul had cried over earlier and looked at the beautiful ring. He walked up to the counter that the stores employee was placed at. "How much for this ring?" He placed the ring down on the counter. The employee took a quick look at the ring. "50." John's eyes got big when he heard that number. John pulled out his wallet out his back pocket and took the money out after counting it. He slapped it down onto the counter. The employee took a look at the money. "Mhmm. Okay." The employee took the money and John took the ring and placed it into a little box with Paul's nickname, "princess" on it that he had in his pocket. He had a huge smile on his face. He knew that Paul was be so surprised and so happy about this. He walked out to the car to see Paul in the front seat looking at himself in the mirror. He walked over to Paul's side of the car and opened the door and smiled at Paul. "What are you doing, John?" Paul asked curiously. "I️ am going to do something that will make you very happy, Paul." Paul took in a drop breath preparing himself for this. John got on one knee. He held out the little box in front of him and opened it for Paul to see. Paul couldn't believe what he was seeing! He couldn't believe it! "Oh my god. John. No way. You didn't!" John nodded. "I️ did. And the reason I️ did it, is because I️ love you with all of my heart." John took the ring into his hands and slid it onto Paul's finger. "Now this ring is for our relationship. When you see this ring, you will think of me and remember our love. Remember how much we love each other and cherish this ring. Watch over it and never let it go. When you feel alone, this ring will help you. You will never feel lonely. This ring is to stay with you forever and eternity. Never take it off." Paul cried tears and went to hug John with all of his might. "John I️ will do that! I️ love you so much! Thank you for this baby! I️ love you! I️ love you! I️ love you!" John smiled and kissed Paul. Paul kissed back. "Thank you, John. You're so good to me. Thank you for protecting me. Thank you for doing all that you have done for me. I️ am so blessed to have you, John." Paul had more tears streaming down his face until John wiped them off. "It's love, Paul. It's love." John said as they stood out in a lonely parking lot.
