That Monday went well and much better than usual. Paul was surprisingly looking forward to the next day but surely not looking forward to going home to his dad. John had met up with Paul at the end of the day as usual. Nothing should ever change. When he became face to face with John everything was perfect. "Thanks for waiting, love." A new nickname. "Awe, no problem, darlin'. John had tried his best to be the perfect guy for Paul because he knew that Paul deserved it. Paul is the sweetest person he had ever met and probably could be the sweetest person anyone else had ever met too. Paul just had that about him which was attractive to John. "Here, let me take those." John reached over to collect Paul's books and papers. Paul looked at John as he did and smiled. "You don't need to carry those. You're little arms doesn't deserve that." He laughed. "Awe, Johny. Thank you." The way home, they talked about their day. Paul had approached the thought he had about his teacher telling him that he was doing good. John was happy to hear so. Just as the two were getting into exciting things, their homes were close by and they both had to go their separate ways. Paul had became unhappy as figuring it out. John had made a stop close by Paul's flat. "You're amazing, you know that?" He looked into Paul's eyes. "Well I don't want to brag but... yes!" He giggled. "Well, I'm very happy with you. You deserve a crown." Paul laughed with a big smile. "Well, it would look good with my hair." He pushed his hair out of his face. John nodded. "One day, one day very important, I will give you everything you want." John promised. "I already got everything I want now. I don't need anything else, John." He took johns hand. "I love you." John stroked Paul's hair. "I love you more!" Paul blushed. "Now get to ye flat. You don't want to be late!" Paul gave John a quick kiss and obeyed. Paul walked away. "Umm. Paul!" John yelled to Paul. John raised up Paul's books. "Oh! Yeah! Sorry." He ran back and grabbed the books and gave John another kiss and ran. John smiled watching Paul run off and touched where Paul had kissed and thought about Paul. " I really love you, Paul." He said to himself and walked away. ~flash forward to 2 minutes later~ Paul had stood at the front door anticipating the actions that will take place between him and his father. He did care about his dad but he did not like the stuff he did. His dad was obviously sick and he needed help. Ever since his ex wife had passed away, nothing had ever been once the same ever again. Paul took a deep breath, looked around and went in. Paul went in and closed the door behind him trying not to pay attention to see his dad. He turned around. "Oh my god!" Paul dropped all of his books. "No!" He went over to his father. His father was on the floor, appearing dead. "Dad." Paul shook him. He put his ear to his dads chest and didn't hear his heart beat. He was dead. Paul started crying. "Mike!" Paul yelled for his younger brother. He was seen running down the steps. "Yes Paul?" He walked over to find his dead father. "Omg! Dad? What happened? This isn't happening? No it's not." He couldn't process all of this. "Tell me he is alive." Mike had a tear drop run down his face and dropping from his chin. Paul wiped away his tears, himself and spoke. "I am afraid not mike." Knowing that their father was dead, Paul was scared. How could him and his brother be taken care of?" "I'm so scared, mike. I don't know what to do. I think I'm going to go call John to ask him what I should do. He will know." "Who's John?" Paul remembered that he didn't tell his brother about John. "Oh. He's just my friend." Paul felt bad about lying to mike but he couldn't tell his younger brother that he had a boyfriend. He wouldn't understand. Paul rushed up the stairs and went straight to his room. Paul ran over to the phone and dialed John number from where John had given him his number earlier in one of their classes. "Please, please pick up the phone." He listened to the ringing. Finally, a voice had approached but it wasn't johns. It was a high and feminine voice. "Hello?" The person said. "Hello? I'm johns friend, Paul. Is John there?" "Oh. He told me all about you, Paul. Nice to talk. I will get him for you." "Thank you. And nice to talk to you also." Paul had waited for John hearing them talking in the background and feeling bad that he couldn't talk more to the lady on the phone. He had heard johns voice. "Hello Paul?" Paul panicked. "Yes John. I'm sorry to bother you but my dad is dead. I came home and found him dead. I don't know what to do John. I'm scared and shaking and crying. There's no one to take care of me and me brother mike. We can't be homeless John! I'm so scared. T-this is all so s-sudden." Paul had stuttered his words. "Calm down Paul. I will be right over. Give me a couple of minutes." John hung up. Paul rushed downstairs and found mike crying beside his dad. "Hey mike. Don't worry. It'll be okay. John is coming over. It'll be okay. I promise." Paul collected mike in his arms and rocked him and sang to him his favorite tune. Mike became calm. Paul sat with mike like he was holding a baby, singing to him. Paul tried keeping himself calm at the same time until John could arrive over. This was so scary for the both of them.
