Chapter 4: "No, Ms. Werewolf with bionic hearing, we don’t."

After driving for a half hour or so we found ourselves at Memorial Park in Fulton County. We were all pretty shell-shocked. I mean, come on, how the hell would the humans have ever found us?

No I'm not cocky but I'm also not Stupid.

There is no way the humans could have found us that easily. We are ALWAYS careful!

And I mean always.

“Anybody have any ideas?” Tina asked.

“How could this happen we have been SO careful,” Rae asked.

What the hell? How did they find us? This is bullshit!

“Goddamit,” I said drawing my fist back and hitting the slide making it break the slide in four jagged peices and making my knuckles bleed.

Yes, i know. Taking my anger out on a slide is not going to solve anything.

But it will make me feel better by taking my anger out on something.

“Woe, Calm down A,” Tina said touching my arm gently.

I moved my shoulder quickly at the touch.

I was not in the mood.

“What the hell? How could this have ever happened? We’ve been so damn careful! How could this have ever happened? I don’t understand! I don’t fucking understand,” I said starting to get REALLY pissed off.

Like, what the hell? I'm going to find those bastards and tear them apart limb by limb.

Even though they haven't really done anything yet...

The fact that they are able to find us is a damn good reason enough.

After, that is, asking how they found us.

“Well I have a question,” Nina said, “what the hell are we going to do now that they found us? We can’t go home, can we?”

“No,” Tina said speaking almost instantly, “the last thing we need to do is lead them to our families.”

Val picked up a rock and gave it to me, “Hit me in the head until I lose consciousness.”

“So once?” I asked kind of fake-laughing.

“We should get back in the car,” Tina said.

“And go where,” Rae asked, “they’ll still find us.”

“Well,” Tina said shooting her a look, “we could still go somewhere a little more public. So if they come for us. We will be hard to take without starting an uproar.”

That sounded pretty legit, “I’m all for it.”

“Well of course you are. You always take orders. She’s like your alpha, you always listen,” Rae said.

Tina twitched her eye. For her, this was the equivalent of an emotional outburst.
