Chapter 19 (Part 2): "I love couches."
Recap:
We were standing there all guns raised.
Basically a stand off.
"Ready," I whispered lowly so only the group would here me.
"Yes," they replied.
I smiled.
Then there was the sound of a firing gun.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
I watched the bullet as it sailed through the air and then lodged itself...
Right
in
Dell' Antonio's
guard's
head.
I looked behind me to see Tina's gun raised right over my right shoulder.
Then it turned into an all out war.
I took Doc Foster and her daughter, Maya, safely out of the elevator and behind a car.
Foster was hunched over her little girl's body.
So if a bullet came flying it would hit her and not her daughter.
I felt my heart warm at the act.
Some parents didn't give half a damn about her kids.
And then I knew, no matter what, I was getting those two out of here.
Even if it meant my own demise.
I pulled a spare gun out of my boot and handed it to Foster.
"Do you know how to use this?" I asked handing it to her.
She shook her head no.
I shook mine to and said, "It doesn't matter just threaten them with it. Doesn't matter if it works or not it will serve its purpose."
She nodded her head again in understanding.
I took them through another car when I saw a man in the peripheral of my vision.
I pulled out my gun and swung toward him when I saw his gun raised and he said, "Drop it."
I slightly glanced behind me to see if Foster and Maya were there and didn't see them.
Good maybe they got out.
I lowered my weapon when I saw Foster come up behind him holding the gun and holding it to the man's head she said, "Okay drop it."
He chuckled and said, "Do you even know how to fire a gun?"
She shoved the gun harder against his head and said, "You want to find out."
The man then gritted his teeth and lowered the weapon.
I moved mine up and shot the man in between his eyes.
Foster sucked in her breath and covered her daughter's eyes.
I rushed them along and Foster followed.
We made it out the gate and to the car in one piece surprisingly
I turned to Foster and said, "Stay here. I'm going back in."
She looked like she wanted to say something but decided not to, as I turned around and sprinted back into the building.
I saw a man holding a gun toward Tina and shot him from behind watching him fall lifelessly to the ground
