Chapter 2: If you don’t stop talking I'm going to rip out your throat

“So,” Lea said after our 3 morning periods were done and we were heading to health, “are we going to go check out our things to do,” Lea smiled even though we were supposed to be mortal enemies we didn’t give two shits what ‘traditions’ were.

So we headed off to health and both of us didn’t listen at all to what Ms. Norberry was saying.

So later when we were all finished with choir and what not, we went outside. Luckily for us sophomores, we are allowed to get our food from outside of school so we drove to burger king and picked our stuff up there then went back to school to finish our eating outside on the picnic table it was in the middle of September and the weather was fairly nice but God forbid other people eat outside because we are in a month that ended in ‘ber’ in it and you know those have got to be freezing cold, oh please give me a break.

So long story short we were outside with the other outcast but farther away there were a few jocks with their girlfriends making out against the side of the building. You know what they say why waste a perfectly good wall when you got one.  Blech.

So I finished up my 2nd whopper burger, and don’t look at me like that werewolves have high metabolism rate so we burn calories up really fast I usually have 2 whoppers and large fries for lunch, a burger after we get out of school, then dinner an hour or so later. Then I go out with the girls and have another burger, and then when I change I usually kill something and eat it, and then I go to sleep and have a big breakfast.

Like lying about why I'm so tired or seeing me wake up with blood by my lip, thought the blood hasn’t ever happened. I hope it doesn’t either. Ever.

So after we finished lunch and went to our next period. I saw that girl again Lilly’s little minion- what was her name Karen?Caroline? Carol? Ughh!! It was going to drive me nuts!- gesturing toward me to come over.

So I walked up to her as she watched me and I said, “What in the name of God could you possibly want?”

“Cool trick with your eyes interesting working contacts or catch of the light or whatever.”

“It is appreciated,” I said back smirking. Really contacts? Catch of the light? She’s stupider then she looks.

“So since you threatened me,” she said, “and because Nick’s my boyfriend you can either say sorry or Nick will make you.”

I looked at Nick, smiled my devil smile, and said, “Would you really hit a girl because this piece a-” I looked at her smiled and said, “she told you to.”

Nick must have been a loyal lap dog because he said, “I will if I have to.”
