"Gaby!" I heard a voice whisper to me. "Gaby!!"
"I'm up, I'm up," I said. Chara laid on top of me with a smile.
The two of us woke up and got something to eat. We sat down on the couch.
"Ever watched MTT News before, Chara?" I asked.
"No," she said. "Is it about that robot Dr. Alphys made to impress Asgore?"
"Yes! Something good was supposed to happen today. I heard rumors about it having to do with something very major."
The news began to flash.
"Good afternoon, beauties and gentlebeauties!" said Mettaton. "We have quite a great deal of events crashing through the news today! Oh, I'm thrilled!!" Applauds came from behind him. "We have received news that a human has fallen down in the Underground. Only one has seen the sighting of this. We now listen to their story."
"Hi, Mettaton," said Napstablook. "I saw a human near my house and I think they liked me. They talked to me and listened to my music and...then threatened to kill me. I told them I couldn't die and they left my house. I stayed I. silence for a few days and decided to call you, Mettaton."
"How stunning! Let us continue on with our next report!" I turned off the television.
"A...human sighting!?" I yelled, worriedly. "This is bad!"
"Gaby, that is no human," said Chara. "When I was out to stop you, I released a human-demon into the Underground named Chiska Seoge. She was the one who possessed me."
"A half-demon!? Where did you get one of those?"
"Chiska is...unstoppable. Before I released her from her stoned prison, she and I were trapped in another timeline together to keep ourselves human up until she wanted to be her own demon, leaving me with the human portion of our coexistence." She sighed. "Up until the time she almost ended the world, I put her body in stone. Before long, I freed her again, only to stop you. But the moment that I realized that you weren't a bad person, I tried to undo the contract we had made, but nothing happened. Something...deadly happened, but you can't even begin to understand it all. Now that Chiska knows we've become allies, she's out to kill us both. Knowing her, she's already made a contract with another human." Chara sighed as a tear began to run down her cheek. "This is all my fault. If I would've just kept her inside of my soul, none of this would have happened..." I wiped her tear and smiled.
"You were just doing your job," I said. "You just did what was most comfortable for you. Every human makes mistakes, including me. Don't blame yourself, kiddo." Chara smiled.
"Right, Gaby. You're always right." I smiled and began wondering what Sans, Papyrus, and the lab assistants were doing. They couldn't be that busy, I thought.

"Papyrus," said Sans. "Why did we both forget to mention Dad's death to G? She deserved to know."
"Brother," said Papyrus, "I know. Gaby wouldn't have been able to accept the truth. No one should know the real reason for Dad's death except us. I worry too much that she will find out what the truth is."
"We've got to stay strong, for Gaby, for the rest of the Underground."
"With Chara just around the corner, what are we gonna do?"
"We're not even against Chara anymore. I don't even know what we'll have to destroy. We have to fight. No matter what happens, we must stay strong."
"If we lose Gabriola, we'll have lost two scientists in only a month and a half."
"She's too strong to ever die!"
