Undertale: The Gabriola Story

Chapter Five

I woke up in a snow-filled room.

"Damn," I said to myself. "How can it get so snowy in one room?"

I peeked over to the right of me and saw a lit fire. I sat next to it as my body heated up again. Next to me, a small human girl appeared.

"Hello," she said.

"Who are you?"

"I'm Chara! You're Gaby!"

I got up and backed away from her as far as I could go.

"Why are you here!?"

"Oh, nothing really, but to make your mind deteriorate piece by piece. How would you like that?"

"I don't want to fight you."

"Your eyes tell me different, Gaby Gaster."

"You liar. Take me out of this room this instant!"

"You're dreaming! You have to wake yourself up."

There's no way! I thought. No way! I crossed my arms in defeat and anger.

"It's pointless. You're stuck here."

Chara threw a knife attack. It hit me again and again and again. I began to see the color red.

"So this is where it ends, huh? In a world where I can't even feel anything." A final attack hit me. I only saw the color red before I fell on the snow.

I woke up in the living area. How did I get here? I walked in the kitchen. The lights were dimmed. I turned them on. Sans, Papyrus, and Undyne popped out.

"HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!" they yelled. It's my birthday? I thought. Time flies!

"Thank you!" I hugged them.

We walked to the living area. There were many gifts sitting on the floor. Undyne and Sans stood in front of them with big grins.

"Here're your gifts!" they said.

Now was the time to open the gifts. Undyne gave me all four of hers. In the first present was a flower crown and the t-shirt that said "Noodle". In the second were two heart lockets and one ring. In the third was a green blanket that said GMG on it, my initials. In the last was a handmade sword. I hugged Undyne tightly.

"Thank you!" I exclaimed.

"You're welcome, Noodle!!" she said and hugged me back. I grabbed all three of Papyrus's. The first was a bone. The second was a scrapbook of family memories. The last was a picture of Pap, me, and Sans. I hugged him tightly.

"Thank you so much!" I exclaimed. I grabbed Sans's two. The first was a joke book. The last was a new pair of glasses and a lab coat.

"you'll probably need this," he said. I hugged him tightly.

"Thank you, all of you!" I said. "I love you three from the bottom of my bones!" We all gathered for a hug. Today was a lot nicer than I would've thought.

The day had quickly passed and I was already back in bed. I couldn't feel safer. I rested my eyes and slept.

"Heheheh!!" a laugh came from behind me. I opened my eyes and I was in a dark room. I used my phone and tried to call. The voice sounded again.

"BUT NOBODY CAME! NOBODY WILL EVER COME TO YOUR CALL!!"

I screamed loudly. I could feel the grip of death again.

I woke up. I was being carried by Papyrus. We were in the forest.
