I woke up in bed. Was that a dream? What is wrong with me? Dad was there, right? I was so confused. I laid back down and closed my eyes, but was awoken again to a crash. I went to the kitchen. A pot just fell over. Papyrus and Sans were asleep on the couch. The house was much quieter than usual, since Undyne went back home. Part of me wanted to be with Dad again, but I liked my brothers.

"Maybe after the battle," I said, "I'll be with Dad. I hope so."

I smiled as I began to think about the beginning of my life with Sans and Papyrus. I love them a lot. What more could a skeleton want than to be around them? I smiled.

"Hey, kiddo," said Sans as he walked in the kitchen with Papyrus.

"Are you busy at the moment?"

"No," I replied. "I..."

"I wanna talk to you two about somethin.' Come outside."

I clapped twice and clothes were on my body. Is Sans upset about Pap? I thought to myself. No. He wouldn't talk about that with Papyrus right beside him.

We all walked outside together. I had my hands in my pockets.

"So," Sans said. "Has anything been feeling...odd to you?"

"What?" I asked, very confused.

"What do you mean, brother?" asked Papyrus.

"Odd? In what sense?"

"Odd as in Chara broke through the timeline and destroyed everything," said Sans. "She's waiting in the darkness to kill us."

"You've lost it, Sans..." Papyrus and I said at the same time.

"Ah, forget about it. Why don't the three of us go over to Grillby's?"

"Okay. Let's go!!" Papyrus and I both said at the same time.

Snowdin seemed much more silent than usual. We passed the shop to see four odd-looking monsters behind it constantly scanning the area. They saw us and quickly teleported away. They accidentally teleported in the front of us.

"Who the hell are you!?" I asked, angrily.

"Um, hi. We're Dr. Gaster's lab assistants. He needs you guys in his...lab!" they said.

"We were just passing by there. We'll have a look."

"Okay."

"Well," I said, "you'd better get back to wherever in the lab you came from. We're on our way." They teleported away.

We got finished eating at Grillby's and went back home.

"Something's up," I said. "I know it. Those guys were... weirdos!"

"Yeah," said Pap. "They were." He grinned.

"Heh," laughed Sans. "Nice talk, you two. Whelp, let's go to the lab to see what those guys wanted."

"Yeah!"

We got to the lab. Dad was standing in front of the door. He grinned.

"I have something to show you three," he said. "Close your eyes and follow my voice." We closed our eyes and did what he said. We walked about half a mile. I could feel us walking into a room. I grinned.

"Open your eyes," Dad said. We opened our eyes. In front of us, we saw a huge room filled with puzzle after puzzle. I was stunned and shocked.

"I've been building on this building for so long," he said, "I call it the Core, the main source of the Underground's energy. I give a third to each of you. Sans, you get the left half, Papyrus, you get the middle half, and Gabriola, you get this half. I'm sorry I hadn't shown you this earlier. Live on well, you three..." Dad's body began to glitch. "I care so much for you all." His voice began to change pitch.
