"Kasama mo si kuya Anton?"

"Nope. Ako lang."

"Ohh okay! I told the ojt na and she's super okay with it. By the way, her name is Gracie. I'll give you later a copy of her resume and valid IDs."

"Okay, thanks Natchie. You're so helpful."

"No problem. Would you mind if I ask Gracie to join us for lunch? Para lang mainterview mo muna siya bago siya magwork for you."

"Sure, that would be better."

"Okay. See you in a bit!"

I'm kinda excited to see Natchie 'cause it's been a while since we last hung out.
We became super busy for the last couple months that it has been just now that we contacted each other again.

Natchie is engaged and will get married next year. I just realized na ang tanda na nga talaga namin. We're both 31, but the difference is that she has her life all figured out while I don't. I'm now rich and successful. I already have everything.. But there's still something missing.. May kulang na hindi ko malaman kung ano.. Parang kahit meron na ako ng lahat, may hinahanap parin ako..

Maybe a family... 'Because I never had a real one..

Most of the people who are same as my age are already engaged, married or parents. At nandito ako na parang wala lang. Walang plano sa buhay.

Why am I like this?.. I'm too afraid to commit myself to someone... Too afraid to be inlove.. Pero wala rin naman kasing dumadating sakin na gugustuhin kong seryosohin...

But..... Whatever. Masaya naman yung ganito na single and always ready to mingle. Kung walang maging asawa, eh ano? Kung walang maging anak, eh ano?

Just go with the flow.. Stop overthinking Rico.. You're being too serious again.

Nakarating na ako ng ABS. Teka, najijingle ako. Pupunta muna ako ng banyo bago sa office ni Natchie.

Medyo binilisan ko ang paglakad kasi naiihi na ako talaga eh. Ang dami ko kasing ininom na tubig.

"UYYY!"

*nagkalat ang starbucks frappe sa sahig*

"Hala ano ba yan kuya, tumingin ka naman po sa dinadaanan mo! Tignan mo tumapon na yung pinabili saking kape! Wala pa naman akong pera pambili uli nito!"

Di ko sinasadya. Ang liit niya kasi kaya di ko siya napansin. Kawawa naman tumapon lahat ng bitbit niya. Pero ihing-ihi na ako kaya di ko na kayang huminto at tulungan siya.

"Sorry."

Dumire-diretso ako sa comfort room. Haaayyy..  Sa wakas nakapagbawas na..

Paglabas ko ng cr, nagulat ako nang bumulaga sakin yung aleng maliit.

"Huy kuya! Yung mga kape ko na tumapon baka gusto mong palitan? Di mo man lang ako hinintuan aba!"
