Lily's POV

"POW" the fireworks exploded as Morgan and I swung on the swings set and kaleb and Konner were trying to catch .

"Pow" another loud crack was heard but this one didn't sound like the normal ones. Someone had thrown a M-80 into a metal bucket and it exploded.

"AHHHH" I heard screams and Kaleb and Konner run over to us, and we see bodies laying on the ground, my parents bodies, a small tear runs down my cheek as everyone is running around calling people. The police pulled in I grabbed Morgans hand and we ran to the place we new best, the shooting range.

"Lily, Lily wake up." I awoke to Shawn standing I front of my bed with a tear in his eye. A tear?

"Shawn? Why are you crying" I say pushing my hair out of my face, but stopping when I feel my cheek is wet. Have I been crying?

"Where is everybody?" I say sitting up as Shawn sits next to me.

"They all went to the store, I wasn't up yet so I thought they were over here, I walked in and you were screaming and crying." He says and I remembered the dream I was having, my heart ached, if had that nightmare since the day it happened, but I never remember waking up to someone crying because of my pain. The tear falls from his eyes.

"Shawn, why are you crying?" I ask my voice cracking.

"I've never seen someone so strong in so much pain." He says and his words make my tears slip. Why haven't I ever talked to him before? Now that I think of it I don't remember seeing him around that much.

"Hey Shawn, do you wanna go shoot today?" I ask him trying to lighten up the conversation.

"Yeah sure, uh, where?" He ask and I know he's kind of uncomfortable.

"I have a spot I always used to go with my dad..." I say faking a smile as my voice cracks

"Are you sure you want to go?"

"Yeah, I'll go get the guns and my bows, I have two so you can us one."

"We'll, to be honest, I, uhh......"

" I'll teach you, just like my dad taught me."
