Chaper 12

Shawn's POV

"I love you Shawn"

"I love you lil" I reply, why does she have to be so perfect, even the way she drives makes me smile. We reach the trailer and head inside hand in hand.

"So, what do you wanna do" I ask her and she runs to the headroom to get something. She returns with two guitars.

"This ones my dads, and this ones my moms." She says and she hands me her dads, the one I played before. I start to strum and finally she catches on, we sing a few and then she says we should take some pictures. We take a few and then we take a vine of us singing one on hers and one on mine.

"Lets make a youtube video." I says and am so thankful that her grandparents have wifi out here.

"Sure." We start and we get on the topic of singing which isn't to hard for us.

"So how many songs can you play on the guitar without looking at the music." She asks me.

"Uhh, about 20-30, and I really like a girl who can play like every song."

"I can only play about 10 from memory and I usually mess up on about half."

"really that's it" I ask her and laugh, she looks at me with a straight face her jaw clenched.

"What." I ask her as she stands up and walks away.She says, I can tell she's not crying but she is pissed.

"Lily this is stupid, you know I still love you no matter how many songs you can or can't play." I hear her slam the door closed and that sets me off. I grab a guitar and walk over to the door.

"Lily, I can teach you how to play every song you want to know."

"Lily open the door know." I am greeted by silence.

"Lily open the god damn door now!" I say and before I know what I'm doing the guitar is smashed onto the ground. I look down and all I can do is slid down the wall. She's never going to love me again, she's never going to love me again. Is all that plays through my mind. I let my tears fall and don't care who is watching. She opens the door and has her hand over her mouth. I cry even more as she reaches down to pick up a piece. I'm pretty sure it was her dads.

"Lily, I'm going to leave now, and I'm never going to come back." I say as some of my tears have dried up. I know she dosn't want to talk to me right now, but I just stand up and start walking. I hear her running after me and when I turn around she jumps in my arms and I embrace her in a hug. What?

"This is what love is all about, we are both just beautiful messes" she says and wipes the tears that are on my cheek away. "We just have to learn to forgive, forget and learn for lit mistakes, yes you did just smash my dad guitar, but..." The tears being brought back to her eyes.

"Shhhh, I get it love." I say and I walk to the bedroom and lay us down on the bed. We fall asleep wrapped up in eachothers arms and I trace over a scar on her left hip, it's pretty big, I remember seeing it at the beach, and there were a few more on her legs. I'll ask her about them later, right now I'm just glad she forgave me. Why does she still love me. I kiss the top of her head and drift off to sleep with these questions in my mind.
