Chapter 3

Morgan's POV

I see the Black Land rover pull into the drive way and all the boys pile out, the one brunette abrocrombie and fitch looking model catching my eye. I think his name was Jack? He makes his way over to me and greets me with a smile as the rest of them pile out shoving each other and laughing. They all look up at the cabin and stop. It's not at all as big as the ones next to it but it sure is nice.

"See guys this is what normal people live in." I say to them. Lily walks over to us with a drink in hand.

"Yeah is a real Beauty isn't it." She says looking up at the cabin taking a drink.

"What's all the beer for, you guys drink?" Jack G. says to us after he looks through the cooler.

"No, the alcohol is for our brothers were all to young." I add

They all laugh and we walk down to the lake as our brothers are getting wood for the fire. It dosn't take long for it to get dark and Shawn, the Canadian, gets his guitar out and sings a few songs with the sound of crickets in the background.

I turn my head to see Lily singing along and all the boys staring at her with wide eyes, Shawn started playing the guitar softer so he could hear her. When the song was over Lily's cheeks flushed as she noticed she was singing loud enough for them to hear.

"What? Never heard a girl sing before?" She states her checks a deep red that you can see from the light of the fire.

"You have an amazing voice." Shawn says
"Yeah you do." The boy with bright blue eyes, Nash nods.

"Hold on guys I'll be right back." Taylor says as he runs up to his car. He returns with a bag and it say "Fireworks" on the side.

"Ohh,no," I say to myself. Lily's face flushes and I see a tear roll down her cheek.

"Hey, lil let's go get the stuff for Hobo Pies." (If you don't know what that is, it's a food that's been in my family for a while, google it)

"No, she's got to watch the show." Cameron says. I'm the only one who knows what happened and why she is afraid of fireworks.

"No, Morgan and Lily can go get the food it's alright there is always next time" said Konner, he was there when it happened.

"Come on lil, let's go." I say but it's to late taylor has already lit the first firework, and as it goes off Lily runs up to the house covering her ears and I can tell she is crying. I run after her. I catch up to her and walk her down the road to the shooting range, when we got inside we were greeted by Chad, the owner, he gave me mine and Lily's Bow and we went to the indoor range close the door shielding us from everyone else, just like we used to do as kids. chad has seen this happen so many times that we just left a bow here for us to use.

Lily's POV

""Hold on guys I'll be right back." Taylor says as he runs up to his car. He returns with a bag and it say "Fireworks" on the side. As soon as I see that a tear escaped my eye. I saw Morgan look over at me.

"Hey, lil let's go get the stuff for Hobo Pies." She says

"No, she's got to watch the show." Cameron says.

"No, Morgan and Lily can go get the food it's alright there is always next time" said Konner, but it was to late Taylor had already lite the first one off. I bolted up to the house covering my ears. No one knows why I hate fireworks except for Morgan, Konner and Kaleb. Morgan finally catches up to me and takes me right were I want to go. The range is still open luckily and we are greeted by Chad someone that has seen all my tears, he handed Morgan our Bows and we went into the indoor range.

We shoot a few arrows and then when I have lost myself in my own world we walk out, say goodbye to chad and walk home. When we walk inside all the boys are out in the living room when I walk in they all look up with confused looks on there face and taylor stands up shoving his hands in his pockets.

"I,uh, I just wanted to say I'm sorry about lighting off the firework, I didn't know you were afraid of them." He says staring at the floor.

"It's ok," I say whipping my nose were it's running.

"Hey guys, we should get going." Nash says and Carter, Shawn and Aaron all nod.

"thanks for having us over." Cameron says as they all get up and head to the door. Morgan and I walk to my room, what a long day.
