Chaper 11

We drove down the trail a little until we saw my grandparents house, I looked over at Shawn and his mouth was wide open, yeah there house was pretty big.

"Jesus.." He says and I look over at him and laugh, we park on the driveway and start walking up to the door hand in hand. The doorbell rings and I laugh as I see my gramma scurrying to the door.

"Hi grandma" I say as she opens they door her small 5,3 frame looking like nothing compared to Shawn and I, I'm 5,10 and he's 6,4.

"Oh, Hello Lily I didn't know you were up again." She says and turns to look at Shawn who has the cutes smile plastered on his face. "And who's this handsome boy." She says, she's one of those old ladies that are cute and nice and everybody loves her.

"This is my boyfriend gramdma." I say and the cutest smile lights up her face.

"Oh, come in, come in don't be shy." She says and we walk in.

"Carl, Lily's here." She says to my grandpa, he's where I got my height from, my mom got her height from my grandma. All my family was short exempt my grandpa, Konner and I both got our height from him.

"Oh, Lily how have you been sweetheart." He says as he pulls me into a hug and kisses the top of my head. Shawn let go of my hand and stuffed them in his pockets.

"Grandpa this is Shawn." I say and Shawn pits his hand out for him to shake.

"Oh hello, you must be the boy that Lily says can really sing." He says and my cheeks flush.

"Yes, grandpa that him." I say and try to smile

"Dinners ready" my grandma yells from the kitchen, we eat and it was getting late, I think they really like him, he was laughing and smiling by the end of dinner.

"We'll I'll see you later I love you guys." I say as I hug them. Shawn holds out a hand for them to shake, my grandma pulls him into a hug and my grandpa just shakes his hand.

"You better keep him around" my grandma say before I walk out.

"We'll that was...... Interesting." He says and I start the ranger and pull out of the drive way.

"Yeah, they really like you." I say and he smiles.

"We'll I hope."

This is the part of the day iv been dreading, do I go back to the cabin and face everyone or do we just stay isolated from every one else.

I need another day off, we're going back to the 5-wheel.

When I turn down the path I notice that we have been quiet for about the whole ride.

"I love you Shawn"
