We spend most of our kid years wanting and waiting to turn eighteen , so we can have our freedom.
The truth behind this is that we wait and want to be eighteen , but when the time comes we just want to go back a few years.
Yes, we get freedom when we turn eighteen , but we also have to grow up. For some we don't want to do that. Some will never grow up.
Some open the year of eighteen , with open arms, because they just want to get away from it all.
Some keep their arms closed, because they don't want to leave. ...just yet.
Some are torn with themselves , for they don't know what they want. They just stand there, having the future come to them whether they want it to, or not.
With all these different types of people , and feelings about turning eighteen , the year of eighteen for you will come whether you want it to , or not.
You just have to deal with it, and try to understand it...even though you cant.
All you can do , is look at all the happy and good thing you have in your life, and hold on tight for the ride, because you have to go for a ride whether you want to or not.
