Yurio Pov
I opened my eyes to harsh white lights.
I quickly closed them because they made my head hurt even more, even though I had a terrible head ach my body was completely numb.
I heard movement next to me,  I turned my head towards the sound and opened one eye slightly.
' otabek? ' my voice was weak wand quite.
' yurio! ' otabeks eyes staring at me so furiously that I thought he was going to cry,  he looked so tired dark bags under his eyes and his normally perfect hair was messy along with his crumpled white tshirt looked like he's been throw a rough time... Wait is this because of me?
Have I drive otabek to such a unruly state?
The memorys of what happened came back to me. JJ confessing his love for me...and what he tried to do! What he said when he found out my gender... Running away.. And...
Now noticing my surroundings I'm in a hospital room with various machines hooked to me and drips in my arms.
Otabek sat in the only chair in the room right next to my bed, I could tell that he'd been hear for a while because of the scattered hospital magazines and empty carbored coffee  cups.
' How long have I been out for?'
My voice still sounding weak.
' almost 48 hours '
' what!'
' I was so worried yura.. '
I smiled at the cute nickname, Otabek had clearly been driven out of his mind with worry...for me!
' How long have you been here? '
' I came with you in the ambulance '
So otabeks been by my side the hole time, I felt guilty but also loved, a feeling I didn't get often except from my grampa.
' yura I need to talk to you about something serious'
I nodded and swallowed back the tears as I knew what he would ask.
' I know this is hard but... I know you, and I know that you wouldn't step in front of a car on purpose, you were running away from some thing and..... I need to know what it is Yurio '
I started crying,  I couldn't help it the events kept playing in my mind and the drugs running through my body weren't helping my emotional control.
' yurio this is serious I know something happened... '
I started to cry harder.
' it's all over Facebook and instagram,  the hole school knows, but I want to know what really happened.....Yurio the police are involved in this'
Otabeks voice was dead serious, fuck why! Why is this happening?  I want it to all be a bad dream!  I want it to all go away!  I cry harder then ever.
I feel otabeks strong warm arms around me, and whispered gently,
' shhhhh, it will all be okay I promise '

Otabek Pov
After hugging Yurio and rubbing circles on his back to get his breathing to a steady pace,
' Im...sniff... So sorry '
Yurio said sobbing still,
' what? Why?'
' I... I didn't know '
' Its not your fault beautiful, '
I whisper tucking stray strands of long golden hair behind his ears,
After a moment of silence Yurio spoke in a hollow flat tone.
' jj asked me to sit with him at lunch,  I though you and Victor and Chris and yuri were going to meet us, he..he told me he liked me...and I said I didn't like him..'
Tears were running down his cheeks again,
' yura stop if it hurts you don't have to tell me, I didn't want you to re-live it'
I can see the pain and terror in his eyes.  But he keeps going.
' jj he... He tried to kiss me then when I said no.... He pushed me down and started touching me!'
'yurio stop baby I'm so sorry I'm so so sorry! '
I felt like crying to but I bit back my tears trying to stay strong for Yurio.
' and that's when I ran in to the road.. Once I pushed him off I just kept running... I didn't see the car'
The last part came out as a whisper from his small bruised lips.
' I promise you Yurio I won't let him touch you ever again!  I won't let anyone ever hurt you again! '
I stayed hugging and whispering sweet things to him until he fell asleep im my embrace.
Looking down at the multiple scars criss crossing on Yurios arms I couldn't let the boy I love go through any more pain,  bringing his wrist to my lips I kissed the deepest scar their where yurio had intended to end his pain.
' I promise you yura I won't ever let anyone hurt you ever again '

Aaaah the feels!!! 😘
