Chapter 9

Clarke's POV:

Me and Bellamy walked toward the guards, Octavia, Tavia and Luca. I didn't want to go since I don't want to leave what I finally got back and I am still hurt even if I am healing faster that I thought I would. I told them about what Luca and I planned. We were going to send Chloe here if they will come to attack. She will help them if it comes to something dangerous. But no one was really on board with my plan. But they accepted the fact that I was going to leave and that Chloe was going to come here. I saw my daughter sitting down beside Octavia who was standing up. I walked up to them.

-Can you promise me to keep Bellamy sane while I am gone. It won't be long. I got a plan to fix all of this. It might take a few day or weeks. But I will be back. That is a promise that I can keep for once. Bellamy is going to look after Tavia for me and I need you to help him with that even if I know that he can do it on his own. After all he raised you pretty good. I said and Octavia and I hugged.

I was still walking on my crutches so I needed to heal more before I could take on the commander of their clan. I specially didn't want to leave my daughter. But for her safety I need to now. I kneeled down so that I was in the same highted as my daughter.

-Baby, mama is going to leave for a while. It's dangerous for me to stay here for me. You are going to stay with Bellamy and Octavia okay? They will take care of you until I come back. You can trust them. You need to behave around them and do as they say. Okay? I love you my beautiful daughter. I told Tavia and kissed her forehead.

-I love you mama. Tavia said and I tear fell down my cheek. Octavia picked up Tavia and walked away so that she wouldn't see me leaving. This was the first time in four years that I would need to leave my daughter with others and it scared the hell out of me even if I trusted them.

-Clarke you can't do this. Please just stay. Bellamy begged.

-Bellamy just keep your promise to me. Make sure no one hurts my baby girl. Okay? And make sure that Chloe comes that no one will touch her. If they do they will have to deal with me. And it won't be pretty. I said and gave him a hug. I stumbled over to the horse and Luca. Bellamy was walking behind me.

-Help me up Bell? I asked. He didn't say anything but he helped me up on the horse. When I was up Luca jumped up in the horse to and sat behind me.

-Be safe princess.

-Take care of my baby girl Bellamy.

Bellamy's POV:

It had been two weeks since Clarke left with Luca and I have no idea where they went and it is driving me crazy. She had told me that it could take weeks before she comes back. And that is logical since she was still injured when she left. But she would be better soon.

We were now sitting outside in the food area and eating some lunch. Octavia wasn't here yet but Tavia was sitting beside me and I was looking after her as I promised Clarke. She had gotten used to be around me and Octavia by now and she was starting to open up a little and running around camp. Not littarly. She was never more than ten meters away from me or Octavia. I hadn't gone hunting at all since I was looking after her. Because Kane had told me that I wasn't allowed to now when Clarke had given me the responsibiliy of Tavia. On the other hand, Octavia was allowed to go out and hunt which made her as happy as being around Tavia. I could tell that she was obbssesed with Clarke's child.

-I don't like this food. Tavia complained.

-You need to eat to get strong. Also that's the only food we got at the moment. There are people out hunting for more that we can eat later.

-Strong like mama? She asked.

-Yes, if you eat you will be as strong as your mama. I said and smiled.

-Where is mama?

-We can have that conversation later after you have eaten up your food. Does that sounds good Tavia? I asked. I tried to push the topic of Clarke away for as long as I could. But she is as stubborn as Clarke.

-How is my beautiful and only grandaughter doing? I heared Abby's voice asking.

-Good. I'm eating. She answered with food around her face. I smiled.

-That's wonderful. So how are you doing Bellamy? She asked.

-Except for looking out for this little girl I am doing pretty good. She remindes me so much of Clarke. I said and looked at Tavia.

-Don't fool yourself Bellamy. Abby said. I was confused.

-What does that suppose to mean?

-Why are you taking care of Clarke's daughter? She asked me.

-Because I promised her. I said more like a question.

-But you wouldn't promise just anyone to do that. And you are watching her everyday all the time. When was the last time you were with Raven by yourself? She asked me.

-Two weeks ago? I have been to busy looking out for this little girl. I said pointing at Tavia.

-Bellamy, you went insane when we thought that she died five years ago. You weren't yourself for like a year. If you are asking me, the real reason you are taking care of Tavia is because she remineds you so much of Clarke and she is a peice of Clarke. That's why you are in fact taking care of her. Don't try to deny it. Everyone knows that. Abby said and walked away. I was thinking about what Abby had told be. And in some way it make kinda sence. What if she is right?

I looked over at the table beside us there Monty and Miller where sitting. I used to hang out with them so much before Clarke came back. But now I have been to busy. But they are still my best friends.

-Guys? Can you two look after Tavia for me? I will be back soon.

-Sure, we can do that. Miller said. Miller and Monty took their food and moved over to the table there me and Tavia was sitting at. I told her that I will be back soon. After all she has to get used to be around other people to. People that I could trust.

I walked away from the table. I was looking for Raven. I found her helping Wick with something. I asked if I could talk to her alone so Wick left the room. We were now alone. I know what I need to do.

-Raven we need to...

-Break up? Yeah, I know that it was coming sooner or later now when Clarke came back. Even if she isn't here right now. I wanted us to last. But I have realized that that is impossible for the two of us. Raven said.

-So you are not mad? I asked her.

-Of course not. We have been together for so long now. But when Clarke come back I could see the way you looked at her. The way you never have looked at me. Love. Bellamy, you love Clarke. That's no secret.

-I don't love Clarke. I said.

-Tell yourself that Bellamy. Everyone knows you love her. You are just lying to yourself because you don't want to be hurt again. The way you treat Tavia is amazing. It's like she is your own daughter. You can't fool yourself for much longer. Raven said.

-Okay, so we are cool? I asked.

-Of course. We will still remain friends. Nothing will change that. Raven said and gave me a hug before I walked away.

As I walked out I was going back to the food area. When I was there I didn't see Tavia, Miller or Monty at all and I started to panic a little. So this was the first time that I have lost sight of Tavia except for when she is with Octavia. I jogged fast around camp but couldn't see them. Then I really started to panic. When I found those idiots and Tavia they were with Marcus Kane.

-What's going on? I asked.

-Nothing. Miller are suppose to come and hunt with us. And we didn't want to leave Tavia alone so she followed us until you came back. Kane said.

-We walked away before she had the chance to finish her food. Monty said and looked away knowing that I was very upset about that.

-Fine! Next time you wait for me. Don't make me get another mini heartattack. I said and walked away with Tavia so that she could finish up eating her food.
