Chapter 10

Clarke's POV:

Me and Luca had taken us to Lincoln's. He was living in some kind of cave. I have never been here before. But I remember the way to camp from here. It's like thirty minutes to his place if you got a horse. He had welcomed me with a big hug and he didn't let go for several minutes.

So now I have been here for two weeks. My body was almost all healed. Still I had a hard time walking on my legs. But I managed. Luca had come here two times just to check up on me. But he weren't away for to long since no one could know anything. It was only my people, Chloe, Luca and Lincoln who knew about this. When I am all healed I've decided that I am going to deal with the commander Kai. He ruined a part of me. Yet again, he gave me something much better. Tavia. I was always wondering how she was going. If Bellamy and Octavia were taking care of her. Of course they were.

I was sitting in the cave talking with Lincoln about the most weirdest and random things to the most serious conversations. He was the one except for Chloe that I could turn to when I was like a prisoner even if I wasn't a prisoner.

-How's Tavia doing? Lincoln asked me.

-More than fine. She is a happy child even if we don't have had the best life that I could have given her. I said.

-You did a great job Clarke. We heared movements outside so within just a few seconds I was up on my feets. We heared two people talking and I knew imediatly who they are. It's Luca and Chloe. The two of them ran in here. I could tell by their faces that they were worried like hell.

-What's going on? I asked them.

-At the first light tomorrow our commander are going to attack your people Clarke. We heared them talking before. If you take out him they will leave you alone. Then they don't need you anymore. Chloe explained. I was as calm as I possible could be. I turned to Lincoln and asked him for a peice of paper and a pen. I wrote on it and gave it to Chloe.

-You to are going to ride to my people now. Ask for Bellamy Blake and give him this. Than you stay in the trees until tomorrow morning when they come okay? You and Luca will do that. Let's put this plan in action. I said and both of them left Lincoln and I in the cave.

Bellamy's POV:

It was now evning and it would soon start to get darker outside so we were all sitting outside eating. Me, Octavia, Tavia, Miller, Monty and Raven. We were having a good time even if Tavia wasn't in any conversation. She was in her own little world with her own imaginary friends since she never had any before. In a way it was cute.

-When are you going to tell her? Miller said.

-Tell who what?

-You know what I mean. Tell Clarke that you loooove her. Octavia said dragging out the word love. But that got Tavia's attention.

-Did mama leave me? She said with sad eyes. We all could see that she was on the edge of starting to cry.

-No no no kiddo. Your mama is out hunting food. They were going on a long trip so that they can bring back food for a couple of weeks. Raven said and we all preteneded that Raven was telling her the truth.

-Okay. But I want more food now. Me hungry. She said and was smiling again.

-Okay wait here. I will be back soon. I said and walked away.

She was getting more comfortable around my and Octavia's best friends. Which I was very happy about. As I was getting more food for us I heared some gaurds yelling for me. What was now going on? I took the food that I was holding and gave it to Tavia and the rest. I excused myself so that I could go and see what they needed me for now. As I looked at the guards I saw the guy Luca that I had meet two weeks ago. But now he was with another girl. She was tall and had brown hair. They were outside the gates. I told the gaurds to let them in because they most have some information about Clarke. So we guards opened the gates.

-How's Clarke? Was the first thing that I asked.

-She's fine and safe. She's with Lincoln. She's safe with him. He will protect her no matter what. That's a promise. Luca said. I couldn't stop but feel jealous.

-Relax Bellamy. You don't need to be jealous at all. She is like his little sister. Anyhow, she wanted me to give you this. And my name is Chloe by the way. The girl said and gave me a piece of paper. So that's the girl who helped Clarke escape. I was thankful for her.

I took the piece of paper from her and read it.

At the first lightning the grounders will attack you guys. Let Luca and Chloe stay with you under the night. Before sunrise they will leave camp. They will look out from the trees when they come with the commander. I will be there, but you won't see me. Don't do anything stupid. Make sure that Tavia is okay and don't let her go outside tomorrow. You are in big trouble if something has happened to her. But I trust you.

I was overjoyed to know that Clarke was safe. Yet I wasn't happy with the fact that I wasn't included in her plan to "make things right" as she had said. We used to go throught battles and difficulities together.

-There is around four hundred meters between the opening of the woods to this gate. Which means that you guys will see what's going to happen. Yet you will not be in any hard. Clarke has promised that. And we all know that she keeps her promises. Luca said. I knew that he was right. She always keeps them.

-So I am just going to stand here barely seeing what's going to happen? I asked them annoyed.

-You all will. No one is going to be harmed at all. You might not realized it, but Luca, Lincoln and I are going against our people by helping you guys. When we are in fact only doing this because we want Clarke to be free in the end and there will be no war. One person dies instand of hundreds. Chloe said.

-Okay, come inside. But you need to leave before the first light. That's the deal. Okay? I said to them and both of them agreed.
