I sigh and walk downstairs and I look to see momand Jess sitting at a table talking to mom. "Morning." He says. "Made you some decaf." He tells me. "Cruel." I say. "So.... What do you guys want for breakfast?" Jess asks. "Eh. I could go for some waffles." Mom says. "Oh! Waffles- AND CHOCOLATE!" I say excitedly. "Great. I'll go to Waffle House."He says. He walked and kissed my forehead. "I'll be back soon." He says. I sat at a table with mom talking about random things when I heard the door open. "WE HAVE RETURNED! " Finn yells. I smile.  "Hey! Jess went out to get some food from Waffle House!" I tell them. "Oh! Can we get waffles and chocolate milk?" Colin asks. I nod calling Jess. I told him that they came back and boy was Jess slightly irritated by this. Sure Jess didn't like Colin and Finn that much but he understood why I was so fond of them. Both of them are supportive over most of the things I do. When I need something they do what ever it takes to make me happy. After Jess came back with the food Colin and Finn said they were going to golf with one of their friends (code for: totally screwing them out of their money's worth) and Jess told me that he'd make some tea when I said I was going to write.

"Think Gilmore. think" my mind echoes. "Chilton. We'll start at Chilton."

Me and my mother have always been considered unusual. We have a unbreakable bond like no other mother daughter duo formed by coffee and movie nights in a small town called Stars Hollow. My life is filled with adventures with my mother Lorelai who raised me on her own at sixteen. Together me and her made people think that we were just best friends and nothing more. but we're so much more than that.

My accomplishmentsall begin in one place. Chilton. Chilton is a very prestigious school. I come from a very small and happy town called Stars Hollow so the fact that I got in to Chilton was a very big deal. I remember the day like it was yesterday. I went to see my mom to ask her if she had lip gloss I could use. I watched from the window of Luke's Diner as my mother begged Luke for another cup of coffee. her love for coffee was passed down to me. We're coffee enthusiasts.
I walked through the door and sit down at the table. "Freezing!" I said. "What do you need? Hot tea? Coffee?" Mom asked. "Lipgloss." I responded. "Ah." Mom said pulling out Lipgloss tubes. "Cocoa, strawberry, vanilla, or toasted marshmallow?" She asked. "Anything in there not resembling a breakfast cereal?" I asked sarcastically. She digs in her purse. "It doesn't have flavor but it changes with your mood." She said smiling. "God Rupaul doesn't need this much makeup!" I commented. "Crabby." Mom said.  "Sorry, I lost my Macie Gray CD and I need caffine." I said tiredly. She pulled out the CD. "I have your CD." She said. "Thief." I joked. "Here. I'll get you some coffee." Mom said getting up. Mom talked to Luke and a guy walked up to our table. I listened to him talk for a while and understood his name was Joey. "Yeah I've never been through here before." He said. "Oh yes you have." Mom said. "You really like my table." Mom said smiling. "I was just-" Mom cut him off. "Getting to know my daughter. "Mom said wrapping her arm around me.  "You..." He said confused. "Are you my new daddy?" I asked jokingly. Mom stifled a laugh. "Wow you don't look old enough to have a daughter. And you do notlook old enough to be a daughter." Joey said. "That's possibly very sweet of you." Mom said. "So daughter.... You know I'm traveling with a friend." He suggested. "She's sixteen." Mom said. "Bye." He said. "Bye! Drive safe."She said in a mocking tone. We bursted into laughter.
"Knock knock." Jess says happily. I smile. "Hey." I say. "How's the writing?" He asks. "Its... Okay.." I tell him. "I'm glad that you've decided you wanted to do this." Jess says. He sets down some tea. He kneels down. "If you need anything Rory, you tell me." He says. I smile. "Can you stay here with me?" I ask. He nods pulling a seat up next to mine. I begin to work again.

Later that day I went to the inn . The Independence Inn was a large and the only inn in Stars Hollow. Mom knew the owner and managed to work her way up to manager. I walked in to see mom sorting out papers behind the desk with the amazing concierge known as Michel. Michel is a anti social person who prefers to stay away from other humans.

I started to go on a hunt for stamps." What is your offspring doing?" Michel asked annoyed. "Can I have these?" I asked holding up stamps. "No." Michel glared. "Take them." Mom said. I started to leave but Mom stopped me. "Wait. Get Michel to look at your French Paper before you leave." She said. "Excuse me? " He asked. "Come on Michel. I'll tell all the ladies what stud you are."I joked. "Believe me they already got the memo." He said. "Please Michel? Please?" Mom said in a annoying accent that she knew would drive him insane. "Pretty please with sucre on top? I'll stop talking like this" She said. "Leave it. I'll look at it if I get a chance." He said. " Thanks. And pay special attention to grammar." I pointed out. I left to go see my best friend Lane Kim.

Lane Kim is now a drummer in a band called Hep Alien. she however was not always destined for stardom. in fact, when we were in highschool Lane's parents were very strict on not having any rock and roll in their house. They had rules (all of which, Lane broke) no rock music, no sugar, no fast food, no makeup, no non Christian shows on TV, she didn't allow Lane to wear any makeup, and was strongly against Lane going to a public school. lane found ways to hide the fact she broke these rules. lane would hide all of her CD's and makeup in the floorboards of her room there and hid alot of records in her closet, and even had disco ball in it.

We walked down the street. Lane put on a "Woodstock 99'" T-shirt over her other shirt. I rolled my eyes. "So when are you going to let your parents know you listen to the evil rock music? you're an American teenager, for God's sake. " I asked. " Rory, if my parents still get upset over the obscene portion size of American food, I seriously doubt I'm going to make any inroads with Kid Rock." Lane said with a sigh. We walked up to our school with the "ANNUAL HAY RIDE" sign up on the front lawn. "I have to go to that." Lane said. "The hayride? you're kidding." I said. "My parents set me up with the son of a business associate. he's going to be a doctor." lane hated this with every fiber of her being. Her mom was constantly attempting to set Lane up with someone who wants to be a doctor or someone with a potential future that lead to some sort of medical profession.

I lean back in my seat. "Does writers block even exist in your mind!?" Jess asks suprised at all that I've typed. "It doesn't happen often." I comment.(Author- that is not true about me.)
"What do you think?" I ask, knowing Jess was reading as I was typing. "It's good. I'm suprised you remembered that much." He says. "It one of the most important days of my life. I started at a big school, I got in contact with my grandparents, I met my first boyfriend." I listed. Jess rubs my back in a reassuring way "It's good. I promise." He says. I smile.

Boy was this going to be difficult.

Okay so I'm back! But the next chapters will take a bit because I need to do dialogue research. I will be back ASAP! Love you guys!
