I lean back after writing for three hours. So far I've covered Highschool and my grandparents. I decided I was going to dedicate my book to grandpa... I sigh. Man I missed Grandpa. It feels just like yesterday when he died.

*Warning. This chapter will be sad but it's to show that she has grown and has changed, if you are sensitive to the subject of... well, death, then please skip the italic writing*

"Come quick something's happened with Dad." Mom's voice echoed. Sitting in the middle of a job interview with a vague message like that was horrible. I ran through the hospital looking for mom. Mom. Mom... mom... Mom! I literally ran into her. "Mom!is he okay, is he hurt!?" I questioned. "I don't know...." Mom said sighing. I took a moment to look at mom. Her eyes were puffy and she sniffed. "Where's Luke?" I asked. "Getting coffee..." She said.

Two days... two days we stayed there until we heard those dreaded words. "He didn't make it" it seemed like time stopped. Mom cried and me.... I didn't say a word. I just..... I dropped to my knees and grandma just stared off into space. Why? Why him? Was it selfish to beg for someone else to go? Maybe. But all I wanted was him to be there. I wanted him to hug me like he used to and tell me it was going to be alright. No matter how hell-ish the world seemed, every time he told me this it gave me peace. The funeral was hell. I couldn't stop crying, no matter how hard I tried.

The world seemed so cold. I tried to accept his death but.... nothing. Nothing seemed to work. Then, the news got to the Huntzburgers. A few weeks later I received a call from Honor apologizing for not knowing sooner. She told me that Logan was going to call soon. He didn't though. He showed up out of the blue and didn't say a word and just... hugged me... he held me close... and then I did what I should've stopped. I kissed him. This affair carried on. Odette didn't even know me. I've never met her. And then.... well... here I am.

I hear knock on the door.  "Come in!" I say. Jess comes in with a big smile. "What's with the goofy grin?" I ask. "Guess what." He says. "What?" I ask. "Guess!" He says."um..... hmm. Oh! you just bought a closet and it turns out it goes to Narnia!" I say. "No! That would be cool though." He says. "I've been invited to a party."He says. I fake gasp. "I didn't realize we were still in highschool." I say sarcastically. "Alright I guess Christiane Amanpour and  Steven King won't know who you are then." He says sarcastically. "What!? Wait what!?" I ask. "There's a party up in New York. Apperently Colin and Finn are going because- " "their parents are good friends with James Patterson, I know. I met James last year. Cool dude." I say.  " the 'List of awesome things I never knew about Rory Gilmore' is expanding." Jess says. "And Madeline is going because her dad knows someone too." He comments "Soooo. I've been given a plus one.... Wanna go?" He asks.

"Well.... it's just that Logan might be there... and now I'm actually showing..." "He'll know..." "yeah...." Jess sighs. "What if... We stuck with you in shifts. That way if Logan approaches you have time to 'mysteriously' dissappear. " He says. "Alright..... But only if we do the whole shift thing." I agree.  Jess smiles. "Seriously?" "Yep! Just don't let me have any alcohol." I say. "You can't drink alcohol." "Yes but here's the thing, these parties involve servers that move like clockwork.  Anytime they see you without a drink they will put one there. Ridiculous. But true." I rant. "How do you... You've been to one of these before..." Jess realises. "I've been to a party with Mitchum Huntzburger there..." I say. "Ah." He says in a understanding tone. "So it's classy right?" I ask. "Yup." He says. "I need to go to Stars Hollow then. I need a dress." I say. "Okay." He says. He kisses my forehead and walks to the bookshelf. "Whatcha doin?" I ask. "I'm going to relax! The party is tommorrow so it's all good." Jess says. "Okay. Hey what's for dinner?" I ask. "I was thinking we order Chinese and a movie. Louise has been craving Asian food." Jess says. I've been feeling guilty about Louise just moving in with me and the guys but... Her ex is crazy. He doesn't know where we live and now he's in jail for stabbing someone. Louise sure knows how to pick them. "Well I'm off!" I say. I grab my car keys and leave. Soon I arrive at home. Mom is on the porch with Sookie. "Hey kid! Did I know you were coming?"She asks. "Unless you got a crystal ball, nope." I say. "What are you here for?" Sookie asks. "Well I have a party that I'm going to with jess and the guys and I need a dress." I say. "Oohhh. Okay! Let's find you a peerrrfect dress." Mom says happily.  I laugh at her miss Celine impression.

I hope I didn't make a mistake agreeing to go to this party....
