Forever {M.E.}

Chapter 1

Hey guys! Okay so this is my first fanfic so sorry in advance if there is any grammar mistakes. I will try my best to revise it before I post anything. I will probably upload every week if I can. I was pacing anxiously up and down my room waiting for Matt to call me, letting me know that he is coming home.

Sometimes I think about what we've been through. No we're not dating, but we are best friends. How is a girl like me, best friends with a guy like him? I wasn't drop dead gorgeous like other girls. I wasn't popular, I didn't go to parties and do whatever that popular kids do.

I was a simple girl who kept to herself. I wasn't always the best at making friends, but if there was one thing I was good at it had to be sports and singing. I wore glasses, my fashion sense was comfortable but unique. I had brown eyes, long brown wavy hair and I was short compared to my friends. I wasn't skinny like the other girls at my school, I had curves also I was never comfortable with my body. I didn't live in a rich neighborhood or drive fancy cars. I lived in a simple home with my parents and older brother.

I wasn't vine famous like Matt. But I did have a YouTube channel where I posted covers. I had a couple hundred followers. But I wasn't famous.

I still remember the first day that Matt and I first met...

*FLASHBACK*

It was the first day of school and I was starting middle school. I was worried that I wouldn't make that many friends. It was then that I felt a tap on my shoulder. As I turned around my brown eyes met with another pair of brown eyes looking down at me.

"Hi, I'm Matthew Espinosa, what's your name?" He smiled big and extended his hand towards me.

I smiled back and shook his hand, "I'm Abigail, but you can call me Abby. That's what my best friends call me."

He shook his head, "now why would I call you Abby, when you have a beautiful name like Abigail?" I couldn't help but smile really big and blush.

I grabbed my tray and served myself some spaghetti. I look over and that's when I noticed that Matthew had been staring at me the whole time. I quickly pushed my glasses up and blushed. Which earned a small giggle from him.

I paid the lunch lady and was headed towards my two best friends when I felt someone grab my arm. It was Matt.

"You know we should talk more, you seem really cool and nice and you're really pretty," he flashed me his smile which never failed to amaze me. I tried to speak but nothing came out. So I simply nodded and headed straight for my table.

When I got there, I was soon bombarded with questions asking me who that was and what he was telling me. I smiled and said, "that's Matthew." I look back to where he was sitting and he was already looking at me. He smiled once more before I turned around.

That was the best first day ever. That was also the start of a new beginning.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

I smiled to myself and I probably looked like an idiot if anyone walked in on me. I was so caught up in my thoughts and I didn't even realize the phone had been ringing.

"Crap!" I quickly run over to my phone, which was on my desk on the right side of my bed.

"Hello?"

"Hey Abigail! It's Matt! I just got off the plane, your mom just picked me up and in about 30 minutes we will finally see each other!" he said excitedly and a little loud which hurt my ear. That was Matt though, but I didn't complain he was his weird, adorable, funny, annoying self and I loved that about him.

"That's awesome! I can't wait to see you Matt! I've missed you so much! Even though it's only been 6 months."

"That's still a long time not being able to see you everyday. I missed you so much Abigail! Well I got to go I'll see you in a bit okay princess?" I loved it when he called me that.

"Okay bye Matt!"

"Bye princess!" Then he hung up.

In a couple of minutes I'll be able to see my best friend. That's a feeling that I won't ever be able to describe.
