Chapter 3

Abigail's POV-

"Abby. Abigail. Wake up. Dude wake up!" I immediately sat from my bed and rubbed my eyes. As soon as my eyes adjusted to the light I saw Matt's brown eyes looking down on me.

"What time is it?" I said with a yawn.

"It's already 11. If you are going to change then I would right now. But I like the way you are dressed so I would stay like that." He smirked.

"Ugh, I need to brush my teeth. Then we'll all leave okay? Just give me like 10 minutes and I'll be done!"

I ran into the restroom and brushed my teeth and put my hair down and into a maroon beanie. I walked into my closet and put some black high waisted shorts that reached mid-thigh, my floral tank top with a white long sleeved cardigan that reached right below my butt, and my maroon vans to top it all off.

I walked into the living room and saw all of the guys talking. They all saw me and their jaws dropped. I blushed lightly and ran up to Nash and Cameron. Nash and I had that annoying brother/sister bond, and Cameron and I had that protective brother/sister bond. I was honestly lucky to have these two as friends.

"Big bro! Cam I missed you lots!" I gave him a hug and he happily accepted it.

"Little sis! Abigail I missed you too! You've grown too! The last time I saw you, you barley reached my chest." They all laughed and I pretended to be hurt.

"Aw Abby, we are joking! But you are short haha sorry!" They all crowded around me and gave me a group hug. I could never stay mad at these guys.

I walked over to Nash and we did our usual handshake then he gave me a hug. We all talked for a little bit, basically just catching up.

"- and then I smacked Cameron so hard the lotion went all over the place! It was so funny! You should've gone with us! Hey, Abigail you should go with us to magcon next month-" I interrupted Nash.

"Wait what? Matt you didn't tell me you were only staying for a month only. I thought you were staying a little longer." I'm not trying to sound selfish or anything but I was hoping Matt and I would have more than just a month together. I missed the moments that him and I used to share.

Matt's POV-

"I'm sorry Abigail, I tried to tell you but, as soon as I saw you I lost my train of thought. I'm really sorry okay I really am. How about we go to eat and then go to the carnival and we hang out the whole day okay? Just you and me? How does that sound?"

I felt so bad. She had to hear it from Nash when I should have told her in the first place. Believe me when I say I was going to tell her, it's just as soon as I saw her I couldn't bring myself to hurt her.

She looked at me and smiled almost instantly, I sighed and pulled her in for a hug. Her back was behind the guys and they were making kissy faces and hearts.

Ever since that day that I met her in 6th grade, I've had a huge crush on her. She was so special to me, I was always there for her when she was sad, when she was heartbroken. I'm always the first person she calls when something's wrong. I always get lost in those big brown eyes of hers. They are just so mesmerizing. I'm in love with the thought of her.

She pulls away from the hug and then her phone beeps.

"Oops, looks like the girls can't make it today they have other plans. Looks like it's just us four today. Is that cool with you guys?" She was honestly so perfect. We all nodded and left.

"Alright so where are we gonna go eat first?" Cam asked all us.

"TACO BELL!" They all looked at me, "what I love Taco Bell!" They all laughed and so did I.

Cam and Nash were in the front and I was in the middle with Abigail. She pushed up her glasses and put her head on my shoulder. I wrapped my arm around her and smiled at her.

We arrived at Taco Bell and I ran inside with Abigail following behind. When Cam and Nash joined us we all took our orders.

"Okay your total is $37.18," the cashier kept looking at Abigail which made me mad.

I handed him the money and interlocked hands with her to let him know she's taken. Okay maybe that was too much but he needed to know that she was mine and to back off.

"Here's you guy's order. Enjoy." He walked away before giving Abigail a wink. She lightly blushed and turned to me.

I didn't even realize my hands had been balled up into fists, she kisses my cheek and smiles. That calmed me down instantly.

We talked and ate. We almost got asked to leave for making so much noise and disrupting others.

Finally after everyone had finished we get into the car and drive to the carnival.

It was 2:30 and we had arrived at the carnival. Even if I only have one month with Abigail until I leave again for a whole year. I'm gonna make this night unforgettable for her.
