"Rhonda, you have to leave."

"Are you fucking with me right now? Our wedding is in 4 months!"

"Why didn't you tell me about the HIV? Huh?"

Her face dropped and I could tell she was lost for words. I broke it to her easy, I just said I don't think it's going to work, we argue enough and were not even married yet.

"Anthony I-"

"You what? You were going to fuck me and have me catch that shit!" I rubbed my hand across my waves and leaned against the wall. "Look Rhonda, what you got going on, isn't cool? Im not sure if you cheated on me while we were together or you've been had this. But you knew from the get go I wanted to start a family with you, you were all I ever wanted. I just can't do it anymore."

She didn't speak, she just took off her engagement ring throwing them at me. "Im leaving, maybe it wasn't meant to be. I hope you find what your looking for."

I felt like a chunk of me was taken from me after she left, she made me happy, she was beautiful, but you can be beautiful on the outside but messed up in the inside. Its like everything was being taken away from me, my brother, my close family.I just wanted to be happy again.

I was startled by my phone ringing on the table, I quickly grabbed it not seeing who it was.

"Yo?"

"Mr.Alsina, this is nurse Tia from the health clinic. I have your results from the other day, I can mail them to you or you can drop by to get them."

"Um, yeah yeah hey. Im on my way out now, so i'll just grab them there."

"Alright, are you aware our office closes at six?"

I looked at my phone to see what time it was and it was 5:15, I cursed under my breath going for the door. "Yes, i'll be there shortly."

"Okay, see you then."

I looked at the clock and it was getting closer to six, I needed this man to hurry and get here because I just wanted to be in my bed.

"Im about to close up honey, why you still here?"

"For one its 5:40, we close at 6, and im waiting for someone to come get their results."

"Well a car just pulled up maybe that's them."

I turned and saw August rushing in the door. "Im sorry it took so long, I got caught up in 5 o'clock traffic."

"I understand, but here's your results."

He tore open the envelope as soon as I handed it to him. He cracked a smile that would've made you drop your draws instantly.

"Everything okay?"

"Yeah everything is fine, everything came back negative so thats a plus."

"Yes I-" as soon as I started to speak Zeke, my boyfriend came stomping through the door.

"Tia! What the hell you doing? Its pass 6, I told you I had somewhere to be, hurry yo ass up!"

"Zeke, would you please step outside, im still with a patient."

Zeke looked August up and down then chuckled. "Oh, you fucking my girl?"

"Hey man, im just a patient."

"Yeah, its what you better be, who knows you probably got something. Look where you standing? A fucking clinic. Tia, lets go."

I looked down at my feet not making eye contact with August as I left the office, I was highly upset with Zeke, I can't believe he did that. If his ass wasn't so lazy, maybe.. ugh, I don't even know. He drives my car, he sleeps in my place, he eats my food, everything I have he takes. This morning he dropped me off to work cause he said he had stuff to do, he not going to work so what the hell he had to do. Not a damn thing but run out all my gas. Most guys sold drugs this lil fucker did NOTHING.

"Zeke, that was uncalled for."

"I don't give a damn, I was here for 10 minutes and you didn't come out."

"I was on the clock! When your on the clock you have to keep doing work! You wouldn't know anything about that cause you don't have a damn job."
