Hell On Earth

On my way home I thought of the nurse, Tia was her name. Was that guy her boyfriend, her fiancé, her husband. I don't remember her wearing a ring, but who knows, she could've took if off for work. She was a very pretty girl, but i'd never have a chance, hell i'll never have a chance cause of that crazy ass nigga she got.

I grabbed my remote to my tv, and checked my phone at the same time. I needed to get out of the house tonight. I needed some moves, I only had one good friend but he was tied down and had a baby, his girl probably wasn't going to let him leave. It wouldn't hurt to ask though.

I scrolled to his contact and the phone rung, rung rung, no answer. I shrugged putting my phone on the coffee table turning my attention back to the tv, guess i'll just stay in tonight.

I looked at myself in the mirror noticing Zeke left a cut under my left eye, this wasn't the first time, I just want to know when will be the last time. I've had worse, down to busted lips, swollen eyes, cuts, bruises, you name it.

I jumped at the banging on the bathroom door. "I'll be back."

"Ok"

When I heard the door close I ran out of the bathroom to my phone, I called Rob and told him what happened and he said I could stay with him for the weekend, but I told him that'll be another beating. I looked outside to see if he took my car but he didn't, maybe one of his homeboys came to get him. When it came to me, I didn't have any friends, Zeke was so jealous of me it was ridiculous.

"Well you need a break shuga, how about I come over, bring us some drinks, have a girls night."

"Yes, that sounds lovely Rob. I'll be here."

Me and Rob laughed for 2 hours straight about nonsense, I don't know how he was going to get home, he was so intoxicated. He's stayed a few times for being so drunk so I didn't see a problem with it tonight.

"Rob your a fool, i'll get us some blankets we can sleep out here."

"Where that crazy ass monkey of yours?"

"Zeke?"

"Yeah the monkey."

I giggled. "I don't know, he's been gone for awhile, he can stay gone. I don't give a fuck."

"I know thats right sis."
