Chapter I: A Day to Remember

Towards the end of the flight I woke up and was going through their files. The leader isn't even the oldest. They are all pretty young. But I guess I am too. I'm a year older than the youngest member. They all have different talents, but together they could be unstoppable. This could be a good thing. They ranked really high in their auditions and most of them have done multiple other projects before being assigned to this group, as interns. So they did back up dancing, rap battles, dance battles, and I even think one of them was able to be a part of some song as a rapper. They are all so talented. They're all gorgeous, it'll be easy to film them that's for sure. I sighed as we started to land.

"We'll be staying at the same hotel as them. We are in a different part of Korea from where they usually reside for their debut song. Which you'll be helping film. Don't worry every place you go your boss will help with room placement." I nod understanding.

"So when do I meet them?" She glances at me.

"Tomorrow morning they're coming to together to finish producing their song. He doesn't want it filmed but he wants you there to meet them. Once the song is produced the filming starts. I'm not sure but I believe he wants you filming them when they aren't producing the song. Kind of like a reality show." I nod, looking out the window as we land. I'll never be able to understand any of these words will I?

Getting all of our stuff and walking off the plane I notice mostly everyone wearing face masks.

"Hey Angie? Why are they wearing those?" She laughs a little.

"Many reasons. Pollution, illness, culture? Little things I guess." I nod not fully understanding but not judging either. Looking around I realized I was getting a lot of weird looks and it made me nervous. It's probably because of my white as hell skin and my bright red hair. God not again.

Keeping my head down, I walk to the awaiting car. Once I got in I noticed a short Asian man. He smiled at me.

"Miss Ashley, I'm the boys' manager, and this is the head of the producers and filming. He is your boss and understands English far better than me." He smiled and I look at him warily. Something isn't right about him. But again I smile and bow to him

"Thank you for this opportunity." I said, and he smiled. My boss turns to me and shakes my hand.

"It was an easy choice. You've done some amazing stuff." I smile and thank him again. "I'm really excited for this chance. I think it'll work out perfectly." I nod and agree with him. And we made it to the hotel. As we were walking in he pointed out all the boys rooms, they shared rooms when they could, I think only one had their own room this time, the leader.

He also showed me the room the hotel was letting them borrow for the meet tomorrow. I tried my hardest to remember where it was. And finally he gave me my room key and showed us where it was. Thanking him again we go in to relax. I am seriously exhausted. I texted Andy to let him know we made it and quickly fell asleep on the bed.

It took me awhile to get up, it took everything Angie had to get me up that early in the morning. Once I was finally up, I was in a bad mood. Which was just perfect for my first day on the job.

"Who schedules something so early?" I whine as we get into the elevator. Angie reaches over and pinches my arm.

"They forgot we flew all day yesterday, so they let us have the rest of the day off to do as we please." I sigh knowing I'd never be able to fall back asleep. I'd have to take my medicine again and I can't take it twice in a day.
