You unlock the phone and open the text. You get so many butterflies in your stomach as you read it. You can't believe it. He feels the same way.
"Y/N," Noah asked as he drove,"Are you alright?"
"What? Oh yeah I'm fine," you tried to convince him.
"Oh, ok you just seemed to be acting different, but I guess it's nothing."
You signed. At least Dan doesn't know you got your phone back yet, and what would happen if your mom found out?
The next day you walked outside to the car with your brother, but he stopped you from getting inside.
"Hurry, run over to Phil's house."
You looked at him confused.
"Go on, you can still make it!"
You ran as fast you could to Phil's house in hopes that it wasn't too late. You made it to his house, but Dan was in the driver's seat. Phil was in the passenger side.
"Y/N!" Phil yelled to you in excitement.
Dan turned around and had a giant smile on his face when he saw you there. You wanted to tell him how you felt so badly. You opened the door and sat in the back seat.
"My brother let me run over here so I could ride with you," you said happily.
"That's great!" Phil cheered.
You smiled. Dan pulled out of the driveway, and started driving to school.
"So Dan, you can drive now?" you asked.
"Oh yeah, I just got my license."
He was a good driver too. You felt safe riding with him.
"Sorry you have to ride back there all alone while we're both up here," Phil said.
"I'm just happy to be here," you replied.
Throughout the day at school, you kept thinking about the text from Dan, and you weren't sure what you were going to say. You had to say something, you knew how you felt. How would you tell him?
At lunch you were acting really weird around him, and you think he could tell. It felt as if your heart hurt and was exploding out of your chest. You wanted to tell him so bad.
Phil's POV:
I got a text from my phone and looked at it.
"hey Phil"
I typed back.
"hey Dan, did you need anything?"
"yeah I just needed one thing, it's about Y/N.."
